  • It's a good job yu had yur lights on yu wouldn't seen the little truck go past!

  • what is the other crawler in this video?

  • i have erevo tires on my summit. should i buy new summit tires or buy 2 lipos?

  • I agree, that dude wants to cut in front of you, then use him as a stepping stone and see what he thinks of that. With his totally unrealistic robot... sorry if someone wants to do some "scale" crawling... we don't all have super ugly vehicles that are have no challenge with the course. Dick.

  • Can I run 3 s lipos with the stock esc ????? Plz let me know

  • @MrRctechno

No 3s with the stock esc.

  • @MrRctechno If you have Low Voltage Cuttoffs you can run 2 2S Lipos in Series on the Stock ESC.

  • Why didnt you just crawl over that little tinker toy, i know you could have. Would you have made the other driver cry? I like how you made the summit seem like a more realistic climb. Next time just crush iddy biddy!!!!

  • I'm going to have a heap load of videos of the traxxas summit after christmas time, make sure to check them out!! I'll be showing you a lego town getting run over, and a full review of the car, including what batteries to use, charger, and lots more!! My goal is to get over 100,000 hits!!!! Thanks. By the way, nice video!! Awesome headlights!

  • whats the diiference of a 7.2v nimh, and a 7.4 lipo??? does lipo have more punch and last longer?

  • @TheHuntingTerminator lipo weigh a lot less and are smaller too.

  • @TheHuntingTerminator

Between LiPo and NiMh, LiPo batteries have a greater charge density (meaning they hold more energy) and they are able to discharge faster. This is great for longer run times and/or quicker acceleration response and top speed. With LiPo however, the ESC's you use have to have low-voltage protection. You also need a smart charger because overcharging a LiPo will burst it. And from personal experience, LiPo's won't charge as many times as NiMh.

  • lol, is that a bandit at 0:53?

  • annd the lil runt scoots past haha xD

  • i am announcing a boycott of traxxas until they release a solid axle truck

however, i may need to buy replacement parts

  • the summit can do anything rok crawlin street racing bashing even driftin if u wanted to 500 dollars well spent if u ask me

  • I go to The same hobbyshop

  • the little truck passes it thats a strictly a rock crawler

the summit is cool except its like 800$

  • @sniperx400gamer

$800.00 !?!?!?! Thats not even close, last time I checked the Summit was on sale for around $525.00 usd.

  • @Teamwoody98 still too much money.

  • @sniperx400gamer its about 480. at hobby town

  • Anyone know if theres any mods to competitively crawl with a summit?

  • @Kevster012 , no there isn<t for one simple reason , THE FLEX, see , the summit doesn<t flex AT ALL(suspension do but not the chassis), so your very limited vs. a Competitive 2.2 Crawler with SHITLOAD of TRAVEL...

  • @warracer03, ya and even if a summit could be competitive it would require too man mods, and wouldnt be worth it.

  • I don't think that the summit is the best crawler out there but it's cool cuz of the gear shit

  • should i get the summit or a sanage xl

  • Summit for sure...

  • @jab287 depends what you will doing..

  • @jab287 The Summit is a much better design and more technologically advanced, but the Savage can take more abuse... there's more good about the Summit than Savage. and don't waste your time on nitro, go modern electric.

  • @steemy2 electrics are more reliable but when u get a nitro running it sounds cooler and its more of a rush, i hit a jump with a nitro and it went 7-12 feet in the air it was awesome!!!!!! to bad it ruptured the gas tank broke the frame and shifted the engine but we fixed it up in 20 minutes and broke it again :D

  • @jab287 Don't get the summit or the savge xl. get a savage flux! it is a monster on power and it is super durable

  • camon! 2 gear and full throtle over the rocky hole!

  • where did u buy the summit

  • nice job what bran of batteries do u use

  • SPC lipos

it's all in the Video description area----->

    click "more info"

  • no its 1/10 summit

  • wasthat a1/18 crawler losi crawler

  • Dang that little crawler was fast

  • the other crwaler in the video is a losi

  • Hey teamwoody, how you liking traxxas summit so far? is it proving quite durable for you? and do you think its all worth the money buying it? is it very sturdy? in terms, of locking diffs, and crawling, can the drivetrain and dogbones handle the power? Thanks!

  • For durability? I beat the crap out of mine, huck it off 6-8 foot drops and land on the roof etc. So far all I've busted from that is the front light bar. I know I will break more eventually hucking it like that. Busted an axle too though the truck was on the roof and one tire grabbed a piece of chainlink fence, flipping the truck back onto it's wheels and tearing a chunk out of the tire. Buy it if you want a redneck 4x4 you can beat on, it sucks donkey nuts trying to be a rock crawler.

  • I hear some squeeking. When I rinsed off my Summit, I had the same issue, uneven driving, squeeking, and one side would bob up and down. I had to pull off all 4 wheels, and all 4 wheel shafts from the trans axles, oil those to get them smooth again. The actual connecting rods to the trans axles from the wheels were what got rough.

  • which is that second crawler in the video? ..seems to crawl really good

  • No idea.

  • i think that's homemade

  • looks like a super crawler... dont know what its from, but since it is about the size of the summit, it should be super... but it crawls way better than the summit lol.

  • @ernestou2 it looks like a kyosho rock force but I'm not to sure.

  • looks like fun
