  • gorgeous aircraft :D , dose anyone know what the music is?

  • On the G-21 do the floats stay down all the time? I was wondering if this was so, I love the old style Goose and the Widgeon's. The Albatross was another love of mine. I just wish that I had started flying, now I just dream. The ability to fly may not be there but the love will never leave. Thanks for showing off the new and improved Goose.

  • @journeyer58 No, I believe that on this version, they are retractable.

  • Long live the Goose!

  • 2.1 million for a new one.

  • Glad to see the plane back in action and made here in the states, not some cheap chinese crap.

  • All I can say is that I want one!

  • Sooooooo.... Where can I get financing?

  • What are the specs on the new turbo goose, similar to the McKinnon? Same turbos?

  • I believe that they are the same specs.

  • I believe that the Mckinnon turbo goose is a conversion of the original Grumman Goose. This would be a completely new aircraft.

  • Go to the Antilles Seaplanes web site and you can read a article of how they got all the FAA type certificates, engineer's drawings and blueprints for both the Grumman and the turbo mod. Dan Vollum, the

owner of a charter company based in Portland, Oregon acquired the remains of another Portland company called McKinnon Enterprises. With that acquisiton he got all FAA type certificates for the turboprop Goose. Then Antilles Seaplanes bought everything from Dan Vollum.
