Takada was way out of his prime for MMA in Pride FC. He was very good at one point. Anyone who knows anything about fighting will admit that fighter's peak at different ages and periods, no one stays in prime condition forever. Most Japanese MMA insiders I talked to- the so called experts claimed that Takada's prime was in the late 80s- early 90s. Unfortunately modern NHB didn't exist then.
@superlyger Hm... I don't think it was coincidence that Nabuhiko Takada (who was owner and founder of UWFi) lost only 2 fights during UWFi era (1991-1996), but outside his league barely could demonstrate good fighting...it was not because he was getting older but because he did not owned those other leagues... :D:D simple as that.
he was definately in better condition back in his pro wrestling days as for MMA he's a better coach than fighter, too cautious in his fights but he did give rickson a decent run the 2nd time they fought
OMG I loved so much Takada. He is realy handsome. :) and very good fighter.

Is this with the song "Power and Glory" by Yngwie Malmsteen? I know he used it, and this sounds a lot like Malmsteen.

Yes, it definately is "Power and Glory". I know have this song (I'm a huge, huge Malmsteen fan), and it sounds exactly like this one here.

Yes, this is Yngwie Malmsteen. The song is called Takada's Theme from the mini album Power And Glory released in 1994.
