My dad was selling these cars new at that time. It was sold for $ 33,500 brand new at the dealership in 1984. It was known as a California car back in the 80's. Other than the corvette.

I've got one and the fastest I had it was 168 mph and that's not all the way to the floor. I've been told by a race car driver it will do 190 easily.

This guy is an idiot lmao first off that is not a cold air induction, it's to cool off ur turbo bc in '84 the water cooled turbo wasn't installed yet on here. Yes it's an '84 not an '86. And the cd was invented by the time that car was out lol

i drove my 300zx across country quite a number of times...i remember driving up to Amherst, Ma from Deal, N.J. and making it there in exactly three hours....you do the math....

The only Z31 300ZX with limited slip differentials is 4/87-89 turbos. The Anniversary Edition did NOT have it.

I just still dont believe all of the features in this car back in 1984. I mean even if you compare for today's standard, it is still considered to be nice.

5,000 were made . 4,000 were in Tampa. I had it brand new. 200 H.P. Top speed 137 M.P.H. Great car when I was 19 years old. It was a looker then. 225/50 VR16's. Now VW bugs have those. Very front end heavy. Borg-Warner transmission. Outran a Florida hwy. patrol car in it on I-75 once. There were'nt many better looking cars when this came out. If you can find one in pristine condition now, check it out. I'm looking for a newer 911 myself.

Yes, sticker was $26,665 the dealers were typically getting around $29,995 for these back in 1984! I have same 50AE model with auto. 7,000 orig miles, 1 owner, looks like it was never out of the showroom.
