awesome video ,very informative,,,,,im thinking in moving to NY,i wanna know more affrotable places to live ,one bedroom.....i also need a job in there too,,,thats the thing...
I have a super nice new studio in Chicago, 4 blocks from Wrigley Field -all utilities inc for $625. Something to think about for people considering moving into civilization. 4 blocks from 2 trains. Too many buses to list. 10 min cab 15 min bus from downtown. Just sayin.
@hmoorencs15 Ive been to chicago before. its amazing my family has a 2 bedroom for about 1200 and its clean. id move there but its just not new york for me.
T HE UPPER EAST SIDE IS SOOOOO BORING, EXPENSIVE, AND OVERRATED...even if I were rich, I WOULD NOT WANT TO LIVE THERE..I would prefer Harlem or Greenwich Village. At least it's cultural and the people are nice.
@67tr876 Well, it's a nice neighborhood if you're middle aged with kids. However, I'm young and prefer a younger, bohemian atmosphere. How old are you anyway? Did you come from one those well-to-do families with a nanny and such? I didn't..so I really don't relate to that.
@emergencyexit16 I was born and raised on 5ave, but you see just because that part does not have many bars and such does not mean it sucks you know just take a walk past park ave and you have all the bars in the world up there.
@emergencyexit16 well, no, I was talking more about the vibe. Let's face it. The majority of people on the upper east side are old money snobs. At least in the village, the rich people are more down to earth. The upper east side is EXTREMELY elitist. Since you grew up in that atmosphere, you may not be aware of how arrogant upper east siders can be.
@emergencyexit16 am 18 now are family owned a wood working and construction company we have been living on the upper east side for over 60 years we are not that rich we just got in when the time was right is all. But I know what you mean a lot of the young rich pepole are kind of nasty sometime's but I dont get brotherd much.
@screwston713ivan The people who live in places like New York City or San Francisco tell me in those places you live in the city not your house or apartment.
@leonardbutkiewicz93 lol RIGHT imean your usually gana be out all day and prob eat out and not eat in your home and if u do so, mine as well buy a whole garbage bag full of tv dinners lol
that's the thing about new york, you don't really spend that much time in your apartment. You're really paying for the neighborhood more than the space. Since there are so many different things to do in new york your apartment really isn't going to be the center of your universe like in many other cities. New York is really unique and for some people it's just not the place they want to live.

I live in the suburbs of new york, about 45 minutes away from manhattan. the only reason i would i want to live in NYC would be for the shopping places and the clubs, but then again i can always take a bus down there and go back home to my clean, suburban area. i mean come on, the air is so polluted, people get ran over in the streets, people get robbed and shot, you find rats in your chinese food..eww..who cares about living there? shit..

Uhmm..wats so good about living in Manhattan? Rich areas or poor areas, you will still find roaches and rats in your kitchen when you wake up in the morning or turn on the lights in the kitchen late at night..people are so fucking materialistic..wats so good about living in a place that never sleeps? has polluted air? and people walk on top of each other like ants? i love living where i live..in the suburbs or new york with fresh clean air.
you're really acting like harlem is safe, it is 1 of the most affordable neighborhoods in manhattan but not really safe at all and you think 1500-3000 dollars a month is cheap. are you fuckin crazy?? thats an awful lot. and that is bill clintons office on 125th street and like you said in your other video the lower east side is good it is changing turning white but the remaining hispanics rob white people alot and such there
haha my ur from the uk just stay over there and mind ur own buisness u have no buisness in the states just kiss the queens ass and eat the horrible food that they make bitch ass nigga haha
