Yo! I couldn't believe she blew her brains out over him! I was like, "NO Susannah, NO!!!" LOL---but then again passion is powerful and I could see her doing that cause she only felt alive when she was with Tristan. I just felt so bad for her cause her entire life was a tragedy; like Mrs.Ludlow stated... "at times I think she feels very alone in the world."

GREAT MOVIE!!!,I saw it last year at 2am and it was worthy, I don't like brad pitt as a man, but here wow, he is perfect but I love him when he acts,he's not just a pretty face, boy I do believe he is tristan,I've seen this movie millions of times since the last year and never gets old... I just love it, thanks,the only thing i don't like is he loved susannah but he didn't stay with her, a shame because they were so in love but i can deal with that,anyway perfect movie,i give it infinite stars

Well it's obvious that the target audience of this movie is women. I'm sorry but it's true. The screenplay is repetitive, overdramatized, and it lacks the core fundamentals of a Hero's Journey Plot Map. This movies only good marks are it's photography, aidan quinn, and Anthony Hopkins. Everything else is strictly fashioned for a female audience. So to make a long story short, e.g. stupid.

@vilchiscure That scene DID make me cry! So much. It's incredible how these actors can get so into their roles that they can laugh, cry, etc. on command and really feel it. I find that especially remarkable when it comes to male actors. It takes a lot of guts for a guy to show his vulnerability onscreen.

Awesome...very dramatic...you picked a great song to go with it...I wan to do this king of thing and I DL'D Magic DV Ripper...if I put it in wmv format for windows movie maker it messes all up and if I try to open it in Roxio,roxio wont find it..I have to do a search,then the clip opens in Dvix player which I had to downlaod upon advice to rip the dvd in AVI format. Ugg. I really want to do this..I have a special one planned for a great friend of mine.
