My suggestion is to check out all the originals you can on youtube and look at structure. See if you can find a pattern. It may help to study how people make songs and then just go for it. Don't give up. :) Good luck!

I'm sorry, but to be perfectly honest it sounds a little cliche. That is, however, what most people in the music industry do nowadays, is make vague statements that generalize about love. I would personally urge you to challenge yourself and make a song about a different topic because 99% of all music that was ever created was made about "love." Think outside of the box.

Thank you very much Sandra! But I think I´m not good enough for American Idol;) I don´t even live in the USA^^Here in Germany we have some kind of the same show, but it sucks... The people there become a so called "Superstar", make one song and then you never ever hear of them again.. But maybe some day I´ll go to the US and try it;)
