when i go in the city it should show my caracter in uniform depending on whose city or port u entered.

but when i go in the city it does show my caracter but i can see trough him.

God, I love this game. Used to play it years ago on my Xbox. I could never find it in stores though and only ever rented it. Hopped onto steam day after Christmas and bought it for 5 bucks. Best game purchase I ever made.

I was a bit disapointed with this game when I played it recently. It's way, way too easy it seems, and I aquired myself a fully upgraded war galleon within the first 20 minutes by taking out one of the top 10 pirates... so... whats left now? are there any better ships?

@MaMastoast The story line and aquiring wealth. Just keep playing until your health forces you to retire. If after one full campaign you're still tired of it, then its not for you.

The closest game to this is Mount and Blade. Mount and blade is brilliant I should point out. One of my favourite games and Warband and With Fire and Sword which are its sequels are even better.

Doesn't run on widescreen sadly,theres a way to change the resolution by making changes in the Con.ini file and changing the height and width to your resolution but its lame cus it actually cuts parts of the game screen, game feels like its missing alot of features. They could of done alot more with this game. its repetitive....

I did not care for the game. It has less freedom then many many other pirate games. One of the biggest problem was all the bloody mini games. Even combat is a mini game. WTF a mini game on sword fighting. Which the mini games are hard. retardedly hard unless you have it on easy which lets you see the arrors yours suppost to follow in order to win.

@Magbig15 There are a few things you can do when u sneak into town. You could locate the governor's mansion and try to settle an agreement with him to get rid of your bounty. You could go to the tavern to collect certain artifacts or information, or to fight off a pirate hiding in the town. You could locate the merchant to buy certain goods or sell goods; just make sure that you have a disguise. You could get caught. But there are things u can do.
