  • High. I'm new. I'm just getting into this sort of stuff and am open to it. However, like many, I feel as though if I'm gonna do this then I should do it right, which means in order.

    People are less likely to ask where parts 1 through 4 are if you would simply provide an answer.

  • I´'m going to say something really fast because i need to go out, if anione know this tell me,

    Today, 20 minuts ago, i was lucid dreaming, and then i woke up, my head turn 360 degrees, then i was whatching the facebook page on my right eye, and the top of my bedroom with the "opened eye" (left one) and then when i close my left eye and i opened it again i whatched my face 2 or 3 times.

    Anone know what was that?

  • @xmxhizors Yes. I was doing that, laying and listening to heartbeat and breathe, then all the sudden I heard what sounded like a gunshot and it scared me out of it.. when that was the closest i've gotten to an OBE

  • Last night a achieved my very first Lucid Dream. I Had been studying and watching Lucid Dreaming videos a lot. This one in particular. But what i did was stretch like this tells you to. Set an alarm for 4:15 a.m., and Did the stretch againg at 4:15. I fell asleep and Then i had the dream. After i thought i woke up i didnt. It was really a false awakwning which was really wierd! And it was really cool! Then i had another lucid dream and Then woke up for good. You cant try hard to it just happens.

  • These steps so far are just to help you get to sleep... not really what i'm looking for to achieve a fully conscious OBE. i tried the roll over technique and i did find that i fell asleep quite quickly.

    This however was not my goal: to achieve an OBE while staying awake mentally

  • @mellowdalyricist um, no kicking... and OBE mean out-of-body experience, which, for people who believe it, means that your spirit exits your body and you can go do things like in a dream, but not in the real world, just a dream world, but i dont believe it, on lucid dreams, which are SO fun and exhilerating, it is worth all of this

  • I can get relaxed but cannot hear or feel the vibrations. Am I doing something wrong. I tried an OBE earlier in the year and felt the vibrations. Could you offer any help.

    The idea of Mind awake, body asleep is exactly that. To keep the mind awake. And yet in this and the previous video, you're advising that we fall asleep during the 'roll over' phase.

    Doesn't this go against the Mindawake/Bodyasleep?

    Which would prevent us from going into an OBE?

    Maybe I'm just misunderstanding.

  • So interesting.. btw the step of tensing then relaxing the muscle groupings is almost identical to what the Hindu religion calls the 'Savasana meditation' except that the Savasana involves tensing and relaxing from the FEET to the HEAD, whilst you're talking about from the head to the feet :)

  • Hmm... You say it's best to be either really tired or have just woken up to easily have a lucid dream (or at least teach yourself to), so when is it you're supposed to do do the stretches/stop,drop&roll?

  • I can't fall asleep I just role around. But when I do start to fall asleep I wake up cause I start to dream. How do I stop that and continue to fall asleep and not wake up

  • one thing im a bit confused about is that in an earlier video, you said that the easiest way to enter sleep paralysis is to wake up in the middle of the night and then immediately try to enter sleep paralysis without moving or even opening your eyes.. but now youre saying to do all of these stretches and stuff?

  • what do you usually do during Lucid Dreams?

  • if anything is true about this video is that most of the stuff you see (except the jaw streches) isn't too odd to strech. I'm on a local swim team and it is very important to be relaxed and to strech all your muscles. Some streches are different from this video (like the hand and foot strech), but overall strech the same exact muscles.

  • By far the most succinct and detailed information I've come across on lucid dreaming, my compliments Sir. The 'language of the body' reminds me of Fox & Tiger's (sic) book dealing with 'biogrammar'

    My own stretch routine is a mixture of pilates, there are some very good demos of routines online, and exercises taken from Sport Stretch, 311 Stretches for 41 Sports ~ Michael J. Alter This deals with all sorts of stretches with clear black and white illustrations, highly recommend it.

  • i used to be able to do this at will when i was in grade school, and it was pleasant at times and very scary at times. i've since lost the ability to "go there" but still suffer the sleep paralysis in a negative way. i want to fight it but the more you fight to try and come out of it, the scarier it is.

  • It's on the website. They give you a link to a bunch of extra files, including part 4, when you give them a first name and e-mail address. They are trying to sell you some stuff, but part 4 and some other things are free.

  • I stumbled upon this by accident.

    I've been getting sleep paralysis (against my will) for YEARS, and let me tell you it is scary.

    At least now I know what it is. Next time I will try to remain calm and use these techniques. Too bad some of the segments are missing.

  • i really want to do this, but in the earlier videos you mentioned how like horrible and scary the lead blanket is. I'm claustrophobic so i dont know how scary that is going to be for me

  • I was like what is this? and it sparked my curiosity.......i tried it and it worked, my body was numb and paralyzed, i couldn't feel a single part separately only body and arms.......but i had a problem of opening my eyes slowly while i was in this state....is it normal or what?.......and i couldn't start dreaming only a very weird drunk feeling if you know what i mean...but my body was paralyzed so i know i was on the right track.....it was amazing and trying it tonight again,hopefully i get it

  • ok, so last nite i tried this without any succes...i think i was pretty relax, and yet i laid down in the drop position for like 2 hours wit no success, my nose would ich, i couldnt keep my eyelids shut, it was pretty sad, i never felt the heave led blanket, but i did feel a sligh vibration going trough my body, but as soon as i realized that i was feeling it, it would go away... wat am i doing wrong? also i never really felt the roll over signal, can you help?

  • were you tired?

  • when u feel those vibrations,, relax even further,, as,, let go of any control you have over your body and just sink into the bed,, just worry,, dont over think!!! just relax even further till the vibrations pass,,, then mentally try and float out of your body

  • *just worry = dont worry :)

  • Ignore it. Ignore it all. If you get the vibrations, let them pass. Once they're done, try a movement free reality check. If it passes, try an exit technique. Also, if you can feel that your eyelids are closed, but you can still see clearly, you are extremely close. Good luck.

  • I think OBEs are way better than lucid dreams. OBEs are way more realistic. There is defenitely a difference between the two. Of course, both of them have their own benefits.

  • Thats called a nightmare and it's pretty easy to get rid of it since you are in control of your own dreams.

    Just one question.. say if your doing stop drop and roll, and you feel the paralysis come during the "drop" phase. For me, i get itchy and my body wants me to scratch, i ignore it and I seem to enter paralysis soon after. Does that mean I've spent too much time in the "drop".. should i finish it with the "roll over" or continue with the mind awake, body asleep?

  • can cracking knuckles help you fall asleep?

  • I don't know, I've never really tried it. I had a friend who cracked his knuckles all the time and it got to where he had to crack his knuckles constantly or they started to hurt, so I don't crack my knuckles much if at all

  • yeah. thats how it is getting for me. And im not sure how your friend is, but im really young. my elbow once cracked, and ever since then, it crack all the time when i raise my hand up. :/

  • Yea I still dont really understand what an OBE really is. How long does it physically last, how long does it last mentally, what can you do during an OBE, and can you describe one to me so I know how it would feel like?

  • 102 isn't going away any time soon. I have a bunch of testimonials for the saltcube video at saltcube - d o t - c o m which you also get with 102. I haven't gotten around to posting testimonials for 102 yet but I have gotten a lot of great emails from people about it.
