You know, sometimes it goes farther. In my case, instead of just checking Youtube for moves, it led to classes in yoga and, more recently, pilates to improve my strength and flexibility. Don't fight the addiction, enjoy it while you can.

I do not judge you for following. Do not judge me for leading. The music says, "Ya gotta dance! NOW!" When friends don't come to a dance, I always ask them, "What did you do instead of dancing?" They'll say, "I just stayed home."

I'm shocked and say, "HOW?" That's when I get the "LOOK" of being a martian. It's nice to know there is someone else with a dance addiction. Thanks. I'm encouraged. I became a dance instructor or "pusher" to get others addicted. It helped me with my own addiction.

I can't stop laughing, how many times have I come home from a comp or showcase and then turn on old recordings of Ohio Star Ball or watch coaches on youtube. Dancing with an injury . . . 3 step down a hotel hallway, slowly practicing a hip lift when public speaking, wearing too much makeup, too many rhinestones; growing my hair too long - it goes on and on doesn't it!

OMG!!! i thought i was the only crazy one...people also tell me that it's a good thing but i worry that ballroom IS in fact taking over my life!! just one hour ago as i was walking home from college i started doing locks and chasse's for cha cha in the parking lot, not caring if anyone was watching. and ESPECIALLY samba--one of my fav's that i just hear and NEED to dance too!! i compare prices to ballroom shoes all the time...and now i'm growing my hair for performance purposes xP
