  • japanese were in to swing from time!

  • Nejlepsi kytarysta jaky se kdy narodil. Cest jeho pamatce.

  • THIS GUY'S MUSIC CHANGED MY LIFE

  • How this is made? How do you separate the melody and rhythm section?

  • Wow! Even then Japanese had auto tuned voices.

  • even though it is fake!

    its good, funny vocals!

  • I know this is a software typing/singing... i realy don t like it...

  • that emulated voice kind of sounds nice.

    i like it.

  • lol. that voice took me by surprise. clever =P

  • Where can I get a version of this without the "vocals"?

  • The name of the song is "I cant give you anything but love" It came with vocals of a great jazz singer Im sure you wont be disappointed with it. Cheers.

  • Yeah man I was at that show they were so on that night , especially the singer!!ha ha you had us for awhile there. great job.

  • fake voice

  • This was right before the QHC's debut in Zanzibar, Africa, where they were well received, although some of the African tribesmen were taken aback at Django's strange Gypsy customs, and the fact that he made Nin-Nin carry his guitar. The tour was cut short when the band's drummer, Lou, was accidentally run through by a spear during a local ceremony. Ah, drummers.

  • The voice sounds like one of those japanese robots

  • nice but not django and grappelli

  • thats django playing

  • Why?

  • great!

  • schrott.. tja was soll man machen..

  • good job of this Yellow Django Revival... but I am agree with guitaneman, this voice sounds like Stephen Hawkins'

  • good music, but fake...

  • this is kake!

  • I got sucked in for 1.2 seconds...then got annoyed

  • Short attention span? Stick to Britney Spears.

  • thats not bad(except voice is tragic),but i can quarantee this is not stephane grappelli playing the violin but i like the solo though

  • additional package...emerging radio sounds...thanks!

  • I actually like this version very much, as I love jazz. As for the voice, I've always had a soft spot for electro and synthesized sounds : )

  • This is moronic! I think Django and Grapelli would have something to say about this!

  • What a ridiculous thing to post

  • It`s a fake voice recorded over the dub version, i refuse to believe that grappelli was so uninspirated in this improvisation.

  • Guys, the music is *ok* but you should NOT write such lies about Django & the QHCF playing in Japan, or pretend it's a singer, come on, how old are you ? You turn what could have been a funny clip in a scam. Too bad. And too many fake record cracks, also :)

  • voice is shit

    but funny

  • hello,

ils ont bien choppé le SON...viello...micheto...qui est ce ?

    see you

    christophe

  • .....no DJANGO,,,,please....but no bad5*****

  • Ahhh Sooo ...dubbed in oriental

  • this is very cool ! i like your tracks, how did you do the voice ??

  • It sounds like a Vocaloid. Haven't you guys seen "Miku Hasune"?! Search for it. Or HER I should say.

  • so what's the story, a machine siging in a japannesse voice over a django track?

  • fake or not, this is one of the most interesting and entertaining tracks i've EVER heard. noice!

  • 全然マズイ!

Boy that's crap + you waste everybody's time with your lies. Sheesh.

  • it is Django singing just that he has his bowtie too tight!

  • stephen hawkins sings with django i bet django couln't sing a in tune

  • It's a free country! It hurts but what can you say.

  • Unbelievable. I can't believe someone would do this to django's legacy. The song's fine without the synth track and the ticks, which could easily be removed.

    But jeers to the producer!

  • NICE TRY ON THE GRAPPELLI IMITATION.. Main thing.. HAVE FUN.. You arent going to top the original cats!

  • Whoever did this I wish they'd send me the midi file, I could improve it a bit as far as sound, but very good job on the notes and solo. Had me fooled for a minute. Good job. People quit your bitching, electronic music is it's own art and serves a purpose as well.I just think its wrong to mislead with the description.

  • this is a fake..

  • Digital hiss, nice try....

  • Hot club de Japan

  • Hot club de Japan!!!!

  • Just what I said before, nice and funny. It does Not matter if it is Django or not.cheers.

  • electronic or not . . .its damn nice . . .

  • Here in I can't give You, you hear it very appreciably: Djangos Solo is a "module"- based synthi- sample.

  • Take it easy! Japanese are well known as Imitators and Copyspecialists (like the chinese), haha. If Django Reinhardts music finds back its way to public ears on this way- why not?? Its just funny, and the rhythm is not bad- but I think, Djangos licks are synthesized, too. Maybe theese are resamples of common Django- Phrases, not played by a human player. The way of the binding of notes in some phrases makes me believe that.

  • not sloppy enough to be django. obviously someone who admired him alot though. took all his licks :)

  • Shouldn´t post it as Django cause it isn´t

  • none the less, the point is it's beautiful.ever hear anyhting like it?

  • No, my friend. It IS NOT Django :) He had a very special sound, a sepcial way to pick the strings- I never heard an imitator reaching his level.

  • Good and funny work but this is not Django and the voice of the singer and violin are sampled (synthetic). Better say the true...

  • not as flowless as django

  • He's a good guitarist and he did a nice job of it, but he claimed it was Django, and it isn't. Sorry you don't like the explanation, but there it is. Django's recordings are identified by date; it's usually listed right on the disc. I mentioned it in case someone wanted to hear how it was played on the original recording.

As far as invading Japan, etc., that's your idea, not mine! Cheers.

  • And the June 1857 version is far better

  • I wonder always why people try to explain everything...

This is just a pretty good and funny work....and not a other plan to invade Japan... I wonder?...after all?...

  • This is really odd. The violin is being played on a keyboard, probably using the Synful software plug-in emulation. The bass and voice sound unnatural as well. The only real thing you're hearing here is the guitar, and it's not Django. It's clever and I applaud the talent and effort involved, but let's come clean here: This is not a real period recording.

  • did they ever go to japan? and are there recordings of this song and bye bye blues similar to these?

  • They never went to Japan. When you consider what a big deal it was for them to tour England in 1938, it would be strange for Django's biographers to omit a trip to Japan two years prior! This is just somebody's idea of a joke.

  • This recording is based on the take recorded on 4 May 1936. Whoever is playing here attempted note-for-note copies of Django's and Stephane's solos. This is another giveaway, as they never played the same solos twice. It's on Volume Four of JSP's "Classic Early Recordings" set. I couldn't find any examples of them playing "Bye Bye Blues."

  • hmm.... sure doesn't sound like django. The elegance and finesse isn't there! but i really like the japanese vocals. Sounds really interesting
