  • Thanks for posting. I miss songs/bands like this, especially now.

  • And no, the band isn't actually cranking "Not Proud of the U.S.A." in this clip. They didn't play that number at the gig. Instead, they offered up other fine slices of rocking pop angst at this show, such as "Bye Bye Kitty Cat" & "Public Television"....

  • Thanks for sharing this Mice tribute. Wish the lads were still tearing it up like they did back in the day! In the interest of giving credit where credit is due: kudos to Clevelander Ken Dixon, Jr., for capturing the original visuals & live sound at this performance (June 4, 1988). Ken's a talented cat who had the presence of mind to document the rockin' live scene exploding in the town at the time....

  • I saw these guys at JBs in Kent.

  • Thanks for posting this. I'd say the Mice were usually more powerpop than punk - this is about their punkiest song - but it was always powerpop with a punky edge. Great tune and even greater lyrics - the history of paranoid American imperialism in a nutshell. If only more Americans could see themselves as clearly.
