  • hehe, schumann on electric guitar, funny idea. Decently played on the guitar, but the singing isn't great

  • I've sang this song in a few recitals. I really like your spin on it though. well done.

  • pobre Schumann!!!

  • the guitar sounds good. sorry I cannot say the same about the singing

  • I like your music very much. Thank you for showing your personal feelings for this beautiful song!

  • i like to hear classics in an electro guitar!!!! this is the way for the classic music to become more popular...if you could also sing it with a vocal technique it would be even better

  • sung this tones of times and I got to say I love your rendition it almost sounds like it was written for an electronic guitar I am sure Shumann would have been happy to see his music experimented in other fashions... who wouldn't?

  • liked this one too.

  • I think it's cool that you're singing this with an electric guitar, but the vocal technique is limited. Schumann deserves better!

  • Uh....I dunno. Not to be rude or anything, but this belongs, on piano, and not in a bar. This piece is FULL of the most gorgeous lyrics and musical line...but this....I'm sure Schumann is rolling over in his grave.

  • a bar is perfect! otherwise they would NEVER ever get to hear such an amazing piece. Peoples imposed limits on classical/romantic music is what makes it so boring.

  • Well yeah, you make a valid point, and I am not trying to contradict you, but I feel that the "lax" feeling that has been hung over classical music in the past 100 years or so is one of the reasons why its failing today. I mean, its GREAT that people that normally wouldn't be able to hear this music can. It's just unsettling to see it in a bar. But I guess I am keeping my mind open to anything..Haha.

  • no I don't think so. I think he really plays it very good with a lot of sense. You see this song is timeless and it fits also in a bar. :-)

  • Actually, in Schumann's time, there was something called a "salon," or a place where musicians would often go for high-profile performances in public that weren't necessarily a concert.

In that respect, playing this tune in a bar isn't necessarily bad. :P

  • You need to either work on your German diction or sing the traslated lyrics in your mother tongue

  • This guy gets it.

  • Ha? no clue at all!

  • nice to hear a great song brought into the 21st century. the singer could profit from some voice lessons, though- to help him bridge the passagio into head voice.

  • Very nice arrangement of an classical piece!

    I like this so much.

  • You should sing it in a lower key.
