I am a camper and i am proud of it. I am not the kind of camper that sits in a corner waiting for someone to go by but i like calling myself a deffender because i deffend specific areas of the map. Camping is stratigic gameplay, it is not something bad. Rushing is for idiots. I love killing rushers because the run around like chickens with their heads cut off like fools. How many time have you seen someone in real war running around near their enemies?

there once was a time when camping was completely gone.. it happened for around 6 months... it was in cod4. no one camped, everyone rushed and had fun playing the game.... but there will always be camping so long as there are high killstreaks worth getting. if you take out the high killstreaks and leave the 3,5,7 like in cod4.. you get a community that learns to play smarter, and has actual skill at the game. and youtube wouldnt have so many people with high scores and low deaths.

@nintendude60 Camping will never go away. The reason it wasn't as noticeable in CoD4 was because the community was so much smaller. I'm willing to bet that the number of people that play CoD now is at least 5 times higher than during CoD4. You get that many people doing anything, & they'll find ways to abuse it because they just can't compete with the rest

@ballatwenty4 on ps3 camping on cod4 was completely gone. because the community as a whole didnt allow it. soo yeah... when i say didnt allow it i mean.. they just didnt play in that area of the map of the camper. so it forced them to come out of their hiding.

@nintendude60 Which also comes from the community being smaller. People were more skilled and knew how to play & approach situations. Having more people means more idiots wanting to rush in & get revenge kills which allows the campers to get even more kills
