It's predicted gas will be $5/gal by 2012. The unemployment rate has gone from 7.6 to over 10, foreclosures have hit record highs FOUR times, $5.2 TRILLION has been added to our national debt, and countries all over the world have stopped using the American dollar because Obama is making it worthless.

Since Obama sued Arizona, THREE border patrols have been killed by illegals. An illegal raped an 8 year old girl for the SECOND time, but was not reported because he was in a LIBERAL RUN sanctuary city. Thanks to DEMOCRAT Governor Marin O'Malley, laws designed to protect Americans are ignored but opens the door to illegals.

Also, her state is the geographic neighbour of Russia and NK, but any attack would not be aimed at such a rural Alaska. And if it was, Palin wouldnt even handle that sort of matter. Governors control our national guard in their respective states in times of civil crisis: look at the LA riots for example. Now under Palin, she had command of her national guard in case of an emergency, from an attack or w/e it might be...she had the power to do so. She received national security briefings and traveled to Kuwait in support of the Alaska National Guard in 2007. Her state is first line.

@TranshumanCyborg, I'm 62 years old and I have never used the tired old argument that age brings wisdom. It doesn't. I'm quite lucky however, I was born with a gift that can't be bought. My IQ is 162. I had several Muslim friends all the way through school. We talked about lots of things, including whats going on now. Several of my friends told me that there would be serious trouble in the future between us (U.S.) and the Nation of Islam. That's where I learned about honor killings, etc.

About the building. I would object to a building of any faith being built there. No, I am not an athiest. How would you fairly represent the Faiths of ALL the people who were killed there that day and all the rescue personnel. If one is reprsented, then all should be represented. Isn't that fair?

@ExtremeAvalanche For many long years you and I were just alike. Then 6 months ago I lay in a hospital. Emergency surgery took part of my lung & a bad infection. I had a tube down my throat breathing for me. That wasn't suppose to happen. I was in a comma for 5 days. Then for reasons no one understands, I started breathing on my own. I learned a great lesson. All those years of blowing up & I didn't change one thing. I made a lot of people angry. I'm sorry if I offended you. Insecure? Not me.

@rickd248 I'm sorry to hear about any medical issues you may have endured, but that doesn't make your support of Palin excusable. Not to share life stories, but I've had three major surgeries, all dealing with the insertion, correction, and removal of a bar into my chest cavity. It wasn't life threatening, but it gave me a better perspective on life. Yet somehow, I can still see through the abysmal fraud that is Sarah. You don't need to apologize to me, Palin needs to apologize to this nation.

What did Obama accomplish?

A governor is an "executive". A senator is a legislator.
Palin was a mayor - leader of the city. Palin was governor - leader of the state.
Obama was senator - a state representative. He did not lead anything.

There is a point in the video when the Palin supporter stumbles in his response (which is pointed out a couple of times by the maker of the video -haven't we all stumbled in the middle of conversations?). Do you or I know what he said after immediately after that? NO! The video is edited at that point.

Having power is not an achievement in itself. It's what Palin does with that power. The newscaster is merely asking for a specific one because the supporter couldn't even produce any detailed facts at all and is giving him this concession.

First off , she quit because smear merchants were bankrupting her and she needed to be able to make more money to defend herself.
Secondly, that job she quit?? That was the governorship - an executive position. Something that should be a very minimum requirement for the Presidency and yet Barry did not have ANY executive experience. She was also a Mayor - another executive position. Certainly smaller scale than the Presidency but then Obama had none at all.
