nice kill kid! now its my turn to try it at my hunting zone, its will be the 1st time for me too try coyote hunt and i hope ill able too do same with a less experience than you, sorry for my english,im from quebec in canada, you should do a trip here to make video
@CHCDirect will do im going halves with a frind of mine on a relativly expensive camera were gonna film all our bow,gun spear hunts ect... plus our trapping lines.
@cole34567... You learned to hunt by running shots? What are you a hillbilly? Anybody can do that...if they miss their first shot. It takes more skill, stamina and patience to have the skills to be silent & and deadly. Stalking and glassing for hours vs. running around like a chicken with yer head cut off.
@263584 sure is, Loved that scope. We just upgraded to the Bushnell 600 DOA elite 6500. Now that is a brilliant scope! Thanks for the compliment, and thanks for watching.
Talking about the shooting sticks! Anybody that knows anything about coyote hunting knows. That probably 90 percent of day time dog hunters use shooting sticks! Just the facts!
gotta let a kid shoot standing and or at running shots bro, too much pampering with a tripod will adversely effect your shooting abilities when it comes time for a running shot for a deer. or any other animal for that matter.
@cole3454657 I personally don't agree with this approach to hunting. I'd rather spend more time in the field scouting and preparing and being in the right place at the right time and make a well placed shot, then flinging bullets willy nilly at panic stricken critters. If it runs away, we'll regroup and make another plan. We don't need to bag an animal at all cost.
Thanks for watching and good luck hunting this year.
@CHCDirect im only 17 , the way i learned to shoot was that way, and it paid off, i now have a 156 and 145 boone and crockett whitetail bucks hanging on my wall because i learned to shoot them running, but i can see the validity of your hunting style. good luck to you as well.
@cole3454657 find a good place to set up. get comfy, call them in and get clean kills. whats wrong with that? affect shooting abilities... alot of yankies shoot from blinds or tree stands. that is ALOT more pampering. and predator hunting is a different state of mind. your a hunter going after another hunter, not after a 'hunted' animal. needs different tactics, setting up and calling is a great predator tactic
@IIDASHII compared to other types of hunting, yes. im not arguing that a tripod dosent have its benefits but when it comes to the time when one dosent have a tripod or a rest (alot of the time) they will have no experience and it will be a fun time looking for a gut shot deer.
@tiredtrucker4life hey thanks for the comment and thanks for watchng. I do love the time out hunting and fishing with my boys as I'm sure they do also and the ultimate goal is when they have children that they do the same for them. As the saying goes - Kids that hunt, trap, and fish don't mug little old ladies.
@CHOSENMARINE .243 Weatherby Vangaurd with a 62 grain Barnes Varmit Grenade, 39 grains of H335 powder, with winchester case and winchester primers (Don't just load this without checking your load data in the hodgdon book) Round works awesome with very little fur damage.

Great experiences for a youth!! You had a good teacher from what I see. You have beautiful country to hunt in. That coyote is a pretty gray and they come much nicer. I had a grey one like that come in to me but it was completely matted in burrs and impossible to make it look nice. Congratulations!
very nice shot...need you to come to ohio...and show me how to call in some eastern dogs. they are very tough to call in..I wish i started hunting coyotes when i was your age. i would be the coyote king by now lol! good job bud and keep up the good work.
Congratulations Aedan on your coyote encounters... Is that the Weatherby in 243 that Andrew had mentioned earlier your using now? . WoW what a coyote slayer that is. Have fun and be safe and we'll be looking forward to more "Coyote Kid" videos. Ka Pow!

I'd hardly call sitting on one's @ss in the snow "pampering." ;)
That tripod makes for clean, accurate kills, every time. That's a good thing in my book. He can shoot offhand when he's ACTUALLY hunting deer.
