Welcome. ;) It's a software called VirtualBox, it's not made by Microsoft. I find it better than Virtual PC. But for me, I think VMware is better. Has a ton of features though. You don't need all of them. For a starter, VirtualBox is the best.

That's not Virtual PC. That's actually VirtualBox. I was going to us my copy of VMWare for the video, but I just didn't need all the feature it has to do this video...

Yes, you can. But the problem is my application is running as a 64-Bit program on 64-Bit platforms... If I could get the right code, I might be able to do it.... :) But as of now, I cannot.

Flash Player works fine on a 32-Bit OS. On a 64-Bit OS, it does not. Because NET Framework makes the app run in 64-Bit. So, this makes the 32-Bit version of Flash Player non-working in 64-Bit. It's not the users setup, it's the code I add in the app to get it to work. If there's a person out here who knows the code to make a app run in 32-Bit mode on a 64-Bit platform, please tell me! If I cannot figure it out, a 64-Bit version won't be out until Adobe releases a 64 Bit version of Flash Player.

Yes, you can run Flash on 64-Bit Vista. But, were you using 64-Bit Internet Explorer? It works fine in Internet Explorer (32-Bit Version). There's no Flash Player for 64-Bit... Now, on Linux that's a different story. But, if you tried to run the app I created in a 64-Bit version of Windows, it would just be an empty box... I've tried.

The easiest way is to just tell the app to run in 32-Bit on a 64-Bit platform. So it uses the WOW built into Windows. Other than that, it's way to tricky. I don't want all my 64-Bit users to do that long procedure you talked about. It should just be that you run it, and it works. It's possible, I just need to find the code. :)

I would try to reinstall Flash Player for IE again... And if that doesn't work, try to reinstall NET Framework 3.5.

Now, if you cannot get it fixed, it is something with your system. You usually get that error when you do not have Flash Player installed. It's a flashing screen saying password... I've gotten that with Flash not installed...

I would if I just had a Mac... I couldn't test, or debug it... :( And you really can't port Visual Basic over to Objective-C or X-Code (programming languages used with OS X). Now, maybe if I recoded this application in C, I might be able to port it over to Objective-C. But, I have no clue on how to compile a .DMG or anything like that... I've never developed for Mac OS X; and I'll probably start once I get a Mac. :D

The thing is, I cannot create a version for OS X. You cannot debug OS X apps on Windows. When ever I'll get a Mac, I might start developing for it... I know I'll get one someday... :)

Actually there is a way. But that would ruin the title, "Chris Pirillo in a Box!". I might release a new version just to watch other UStreamers; but I would have to think about going about to do that. There's a way, but it'll be hard to incorporate it all in one program.

Well, by stand alone feed. I am thinking about the live video feed. I just went on Chris's site, and just took the SWF file (it plays the chat and the live video feed), and extracted it...

Hey ()! the (Chris Pirillo in a Box!) program is cool & it does something that I have been wanting to do ever since I came across chris pirillo's video cast here on you tube & that is to go full screen & to not always have the chat stuff infront of the show. I have been watching (Chris Pirillo) ever since TechTV & I watched him everyday. So guy good looking out & keep up the good work.

I used zone alarm and had to bring my computer in to be serviced. It stopped everything. Sent it to service unit twice. I think zone alarm has issues, or so I was informed. I would have to say that I know about 7 ppl who had issues with Zone Alarm. I was even told buy best buy Zone Alarm isn't the best. Hope this helps. Thanks chris. Cannot wait until your next vids. Well, obviously Zone Alarm is blocking it still. It worked fine for me after allowing it in my firewall...

Google "allow a program zone alarm", it'll be the first result... I don't know what else to tell you. It works perfectly for the rest of us, and my beta testers...
