The good thing about audacity is its accessibility even for blind people using screen readers, and that is one of the reasons that you can use keyboard shortcuts and not only the mouse, so I liked it a lot! It is not only free; it is AWESOME!

@misspreet510 i use audacity and to use an instrumental u must have it downlaoaded onto ur computer... and i think where it says edit u can import an adio and just find the tik tok instrumental and add it.. but i have no clue on how to actually edit ur voice.. i hope this helps even tho it was posted like a year ago =)\

I'm having trouble recording drums. I'm using the Blue Yeti microphone and no matter how far I place the mic from the drums, I always get a muffled sound because the mic is catching too much sound. Do you know how I can fix this problem?

I used Audacity to record a song off Myspace, it was my friend's band and he didn't have an MP3 file of the song anymore.

But now I can't record my voice anymore, I don't know what the problem is. Everything in Audacity seems to work and my Sound settings on windows seem allright too but there must be something not right. Do you know what the problem is?

I have a question regarding audacity, I downloaded the software and some how I lost the meter toollbar used for monitoring the input and output audio levels, how do I bring it back. I click the view buttom and clicked the float meter toollbar, but that would bring it back to the upper right corner of the program, what should I do?

its a recording programs ability. i dont actually know which one she is using but i used "Camtasia Studio 7" and in the recording settings u will find it. u cant have it permenentaly,only at videos... after u record them not while u record them :P its nothing special, but i thought it was too.

I use a screen capture software called Camtasia but it isn't free. I believe there is a more basic free software called Camstudio (or similar). Also Camtasia allows you to highlight the cursor - the yellow circle you see.

Camstudio has 100% of the recording features Camtasia does, or at least all the ons you would need.

The only thing it doesn't have is zoom, but anyone with a computer knows that CTRL + makes you zoom.

The problem I had with Camstudio was that my videos would often end up out of synch with the voice if I made them too long (plus it used to crash my computer all the time)
