  • Damn Cam "Leonardo" Clarke can sing for a openly gay man.

  • I Love this song soooooo much

  • @blossom532 How could you make a omment like that?!

  • Wait a minute... Why am I crying?

  • I actually like this song than the Muppet rendition... I know both versions have a sincerity, but this one is more of a pick-me-up where the other is in memorandum.

  • I was cast in a production of this musical. I was fired 2 weeks in. Seems they didnt believe in me. It broke my heart.

  • Damn you Peanuts! Making me cry!

  • This song is something to live by!

  • Me and my school sang this in my 6th grade school play. Heh heh...

  • This song debuted in 1975. A year later the Muppets debuted this song.

  • Due to having watched that certain song played in a clip from the "Muppet Show" episode, "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson", where the Muppets (excluding Kermit) sing this song as what turns out to be a posthumous tribute for Jim Henson, and after they're done singing, Kermit compliments the song and tells them he knew they could do the tribute for Jim.

  • i have to sing this in choir at school :]

  • @jadekaye1 me too xx

  • I'm in this musical right now :) I'm Woodstock. This is my favorite song in this show <3

  • I still believe on u... thanks for!

  • this song is my medecine for the darkest moments.. thank u charlie brown

  • This was actually made for the snoopy musical it then got used in the muppets many years later as the guy that wrote the song then started working on the muppets and thought it would be good to pull this song out again and have the muppets singing it.

  • If just one person believes in you,

    Deep enough and strong enough

    Believes in you,

    Hard enough and long enough,

    Before you knew it,

    Someone else would think,

"If he can do it, I can do it,"

    Making it...

  • ... two.

Two whole people who believe in you.

And if two whole people believe in you,

    Deep enough and strong enough

    Believe in you,

    Hard enough and long enough,

There's bound to be some other person

Who believes in making it a threesome

    Making it...

  • ... three.

"People," you can say, "... believe in me."

    And if three whole people,

    Why not four?

    And if four whole people,

    Why not more

    And more

    And more?

  • And when all those people believe in you,

    Deep enough and strong enough

    Believe in you,

    Hard enough and long enough,

    It stands to reason

You yourself will start to see what everybody sees in you.

    And maybe even you

    Can believe in you

    Too.

  • :') i love this song so much,

    and if four more people,

    why not more,

    and more, and moreee!

  • where did u get a copy on dvd? i havent found it yet...

  • This song is inspiring.

  • I LOVE Snoopy but boy, he truly isn't a 'laugh a minute'.... :)

  • @kikivolauvent1 What do you mean by that?

  • What a wonderful, Kindness music!))) I live this)

  • This in my opinion is the best song in the whole musical. I cried the first couple times I heard this wonderful song.

  • Why do all Charlie Brown musicals have to have such sad ending songs. I mean I like this and Happiness, but whenever I watch them I cry.

  • i love how they always sing with their noses up

  • i know someone said this song was jim henson's but charlie brown had it first I checked the musical was done in 1975 jim didn't use it until the muppet show with Bernadette Peters episode 212

  • i sung this song for my graduation this year!

  • Hello Everybody!

STARTING AT 1:41, MY LITTLE GRANDDAUGHTER CRIED LIKE ROCKY FROM 'INTERVENTION' WHEN SHE SAW THIS ON VHS

  • Wow...this is too much!!! It is sooooo nice!!! Thank you for posting and thank you so much for posting this!!! Love the truth in the words. LoLv.

  • This song makes perfect sense when you think about it clear enough. If just one person remembers something that should be believed in & remembered for many years to come even if dead today, it will intensify our love for such classics like this as the message goes along even when its roots are no more. It also shows why the classics always stand superior to the newer idea of entertainment & why songs like this are used in allowing us to remember the years of happiness of childhood & earlier.

  • OMG i remember this song when i was a kid O Thank u so much!

  • Sounds a bit like the end track to Bust A Move 2.

  • Sigh, when I think of all the entertainers of my childhood who've passed before and during my lifetime; Jim Henson, Mister Rogers, Rev. W. Awdry, Charles Schulz, Walt Disney...

Now I have a song to remember them by and remember the good old times.

  • Hehehee. Threesome

  • All of my wonderful will always believe in me!

  • wonderful! I love snoopy so much~ <3

  • I love this show!!!!

  • I dunno which is sadder...The Muppeteers and their top-ranked characters singing this at Jim Henson's memorial or Fergie--the former Sally Brown at one point--singing it out of tribute to Charles Shulz, especially since Henson himself respected Shulz so that he was a Peanuts fan too!

  • Someday you'll find the Rainbow Connection, 'cause...

Lynne as ACME Chief and Luna, Noah as dragon Magellan and Bear, Craig Bartlett as Rugrats writer/Hey Arnold! creator/producer of Henson programs/animator of Pee-Wee's Playhouse/husband of Lisa Groening aka the inspiration for The Simpsons' daughter (and the actual sister of The Simpsons' creator, Matt Groening), Mr. Rogers & Pee-Wee Herman & Margaret Hamilton all appearing as Sesame Street guests, Henson being a Peanuts and Oz fan, et al.

  • I loved when the muppets sang this song!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm assuming this applies just as much to Shermy, Violet, and original Patty like it does everyone else?

  • @U1986NuclearGrounds & Pig Pen.

  • anyone else see the chubby yoshi in the corner? :D hee hee

  • My sister and I use to sing this song all the time as child. It makes you want to believe in the whole world no matter what.

  • We're doing Charlotte's Web at my school, and we're singing this song at the end of it. It's just that good huh.

  • Just made the 199 likes 200

  • I wanna know where schroeder came from he did not even have any lines in the show

  • "Finally, the prophecy has been fulfilled. The main casts of both Broadway musicals and therefore the three main couples are together at last!" :D

Good way ta top things off, I suppose.

  • @ErinLovegood Neither did Marcie.

  • I proudly have this song on my iphone. :D

  • This song makes me weep like a baby.

  • it is a little corny but i have to admit it is a good song, meaningful, and heart warming.just wonderful :)

  • The song is a bit corny but has a lot of heart.

  • Goodbye Jim Henson. This was your favorite song.

  • this was Jim Henson's favorite song

  • some of the kids in the Charlie Brown specials might be there

  • 2 people really hate the hope, dont they o_o

  • Snoopy & Lucy hugged 0:43 0:50

  • Gracias por este gran regalo !

con 25 años, cada vez me he ido haciendo más niño gracias a snoopy =)

  • I think they should record the voices like they used to in little increments, and then sequence them together to get a more nostalgic sound out of the voices. To me that was the one thing about the peanuts t.v. series and specials that made it so defining and unique. The newer ones are still great additions to the series, it's just a technique i think they should resurrect...

  • We had this movie recorded on VHS from a TV showing when I was a little kid and I grew up with the movie and loved the music all my life. Where can I get a copy?? I've been trying to track one down for years!

  • Love it!!!

  • I don't understand y they can't resurrect the peanuts and put them back on TV today.

  • This truly is beautiful. It brings back such great memories, and what a good message to pass on to my son who is watching it with me right now. Brings a tear to my eye.

  • This song I just like because it's about beliving in people.

  • This song I just like because it's about beliving in people.

  • a traumatizing event happened to me today. I'd lost all hope in myself. But this wonderful, enthralling song has helped me restore my faith in myself.

  • There's just something so...warm about Lucy and Snoopy in this song. They were rivals most of the time in Peanuts lore, but just in this three minute song, you can see how tight knit the Peanuts gang were/are.

  • With all the offensive things in the world, it's good to know that there are still songs like this, songs that you can believe in.

  • This song does NOT apply to terrorists and would-be dictators.

  • @Nonamearisto What the cow is with you?

  • @Nonamearisto What? who said it did ?

  • I had to sing this song today :) It is so good to sing at the end of something special :')

  • I believe this song could be used in a tribute to Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz.

  • Charlie Brown is the man in the moon? Who knew?

  • um who jim henson??

  • @hamr4ir he's the creator of Kermit and the Muppets

  • @hamr4ir Creater of muppets and he made muppet babies and all muppet shows.

  • i am learning this somg for drama camp

  • I first heard this song with the Henson memorial and its truly a song that gives me tears, chills, and hope at the same time

  • Make it a threesome!

  • @ItsAbacus2009 Nah! It would look funny if his mouth moved.

  • This was the first song ever to make me cry just by listening to music.

  • What I wouldn't give to see a Crossover Version of this song.

Peanuts AND Muppets, singing this song together.

  • What I wouldn't give to see a Disney crossover version of this song; that would be even better.

  • Better yet, an Animated/Live-Action Crossover;

    Disney, Peanuts AND Muppets

  • @hemanshera777: And Oz, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Pee-Wee, and others also, thanks to Craig Bartlett being involved with all those and working with the Hensons.

  • Disney (the House of Mouse line-up), Muppets (Sesame Street, The Muppets, & Fraggle Rock)--Jereth & Hoggle from Labyrinth, the Gelflings from Dark Crystal, Dinosaurs' dad Carl & Baby Sinclair, Star Wars' Yoda, the live-action TMNT, the cast of Eureeka's Castle, et al--Peanuts (the core gang), Oz (Dorothy & Elphaba NOT hating each other to sing with Glinda), Mr. Rogers, Pee-Wee Herman, Rugrats' Tommy & Chuckie & Angelica, Helga & Arnold from Hey Arnold!, & a slew of others all singing = AWESOME!

  • Paradoy of what Kermit says:

"What a great song, I knew you guys could do the tribute for Shulz." Love this.

  • I think it was on this show first. Either way rightfully done on both.

  • We're singing this in my high school's musical. It's a compilation of a bunch of awesome musicals. <3

  • It's like Lucy always says, "He isn't much of a dog, but after all, who is?"

  • I love seeing the muppets do this song as well..

  • Another happy ending. I love this.

  • All the characters are very lovely.

  • I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!

  • A song like this gives you hope for the world.

  • Aren't the Little Einsteins from Nickelodeon?

  • Comment removed

  • I thought this was from the good old days of Cartoon Network?

  • @OfficiaISnoopy no Nickoladen, but close ennough.

  • @OfficiaISnoopy As far as I know, it was never on Cartoon network, it was only on nick.

  • Maybe not, but what do you think this song would sound like if the Little Einsteins DID sing this song?

Also, I think this song might be suitable for this Holiday Season, because Christmas is probably one of the good Holidays to believe in someone. Right? ;o)

  • good point.

  • @Supercharge87 This was originally jim henson's.....i miss him .....the world needs him back

  • @Shippo222 Actually, the song originated in this. But they felt was appropriate to sing it at Jim Henson's funeral.

  • @Shippo222 sorry but Jim did not have this first i do like his work and everything he gave us but this song was born from charlie brown the musical i check several sites this came from this musical I'm sorry if i offended you

  • @Shippo222 No, this song was originally from the stage version of this musical. Jim Henson's Muppets just happened to cover it before the musical was adapted into this.

  • @Shippo222 Actually, according to the Muppet Wiki along other sources, the song was originally from the 1975 Peanuts state musical: Snoopy! The Musical. The first time the Muppets did a cover of it was on the muppet show about a year or so after.

  • @Shippo222 It was not. But your sentiment is probably appreciated.

  • RAWRR I MISS PATRICKK! this is killing me!

  • Thank you for posting this snippet. I was in a production of "Snoopy" 24 years ago and still have such fond memories of the music.

  • say. who are you? (just curious)

  • Comment removed

  • @jediKnightreviews omg that is so funny

  • OMG they have a DVD for this!? O_o I WANT!!

  • The Same song they sang at jim henson's funeral....wow, never knew it came from Peanuts....

The singing voices are so good here. Snoopy's voice is the same actor who played Leonardo in the old TMNT show (Cam Clarke). Also played Prince Adam in the remake of Masters of the Universe.

  • You know. It's REALLY creepy when Snoopy has a voice, especially a real Crooner like that one.

Adding a voice to a character that's been defined as mute removes a certain level of connection with them, and it's doesn't help that I don't think Snoopy sounds like that in ANYONE'S head.

  • @DairunCates I don't think it's creepy.

  • @DairunCates He still is mute. He doesn't talk. We hear his thoughts.

  • for as long as i live i will always love snoopy lolz i did this musical too <3

  • i ♥ this song

  • While I love the song, I think that it is in bad taste to have some vocalize what Snoopy is thinking.

  • where I can download this song? I really like it but I can't find it!

  • @babycowko I have it in mp3 form of this song. IF you'd like to have it please pm me.

  • I never knew this was from Snoopy. I always thought this was originally from the Muppets. I especially liked the version they sang on the tribute special to Jim Henson. This is also a great version. Thanks for sharing!

  • I believe it actually was originally from the Muppets. I have a quote book of Jim Henson and the Muppets and part of the song was in it.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh! Huh, okay. Thanks! =)

  • This should be a tribute to Wayne Allwine, the late voice-actor of Mickey Mouse, just like it probably was to Jim Henson.

    REASON FOR THAT:

Wayne passed away at Age 62 this year.

  • @hemanshera777: Except that Walt Disney created the mouse years before. All subsequent voice actors are just filling in for the boss, just like Steve Whitmire now does for Jim's characters.

  • This is beutiful...not as good as happiness...but still wonderful!

  • @broadwaydude2378 I like it better than Happiness.

  • i have to sing this for 5th grade night!!! it rulezzz

  • Was this on Broadway or was it for just TV?

  • both actually.

THIS one, however, is the TV Special Version.

  • I sang this song for a musical!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I didn't know that this was from a Peanuts musical, I first heard it sung by the Muppets in a tribute special to Jim Henson

im singing this for skool in chorus

    everyone loves this song!!!

    haha

  • RIP Bill Melendez (Snoopy) and Jim Henson (Kermit, Ernie, Rowlf, etc.)...two people who loved this song. XD

  • I agree. A lot of people don't realise this was Jim's favourtie song.

    This version is lovely

  • Jamie: That explains why so many of his productions have used it. And yes, this version is indeed beautiful.

  • I'm teary eyed I loved Snoopy the musical. I wish they bring these specials back. At least I found the complete peanut's specials on ebay.

  • im using this song in my ranma 1/2fan fic
