I bought my Krank from Apple Music in Portland, OR. Maybe you can order one if you contact them. As far as flaws, I don't have any complaints with the Krank, if you are looking for a good metal tone I would recommend it, plus the clean channel sounds really good, too. I've never played a Revolution series, but they're supposedly similar to the Krankenstien.

Thanx dude. Yea I love the sound of the Krankenstein. I was playing on a piece of shit Crate for a long time and I finally decided to just go put a nice amp on layaway. I've figured if it was custom made for Dimebag then there couldn't be anything wrong with it.
I get to play on these every day, yet i still cant stop watching clips of these. I wish someone would show off the versatility of these amps, theres so much more that these can do. I've said it before the blues tones on these are incredible once you dial in the right settings.
The user's manual has some pretty good recommended settings for brown sound and ac/dc type sound, but I'm partial to the scooped sound. The clean sounds really nice too.

Get a Krank I had a Mesa dual rec for about 3 years never was happy with the sound. I ended up buying a Soldano Decatone now that amp is the end all and be all. However I have played a Krank and they sound way better than boogie.
When I first got the head I was playing thru my old Univox cabinet, and it sounded pretty good. The Mesa stuff is my brothers, so I haven't tried his cab, but I'll check it out and see how it sounds.
I tried it out. It sounds pretty good, honestly I really couldn't tell the difference. The Krank cab is 16 ohm and the Mesa is 8 ohm, but they sound pretty similar. My bro thinks my amp has slightly more bass response.

i think it's the exact opposite from the word "muddy", for me it has a super-super defined gain, super fine for drop-tuned metal rhytms, but at the same time, a bit hard to dial in sweet juicy solo markIVish tone on this thing.. that's y many many people hate krank.. but i think with the right setting and -perhaps- an EQ pedal you could get that juicy solo tone out of a krank..

esp ec les pauls have emg 81s and are better sounding the some gibsons.
the damien schecter is 450 with emg passive h4 pickups and has a licensed floyd rose tremolo and a custom neck inlay.
think twice before you spend 1000s on equipment

Pickups and amps make more of a difference, as long as the guitar is decent to begin with.

When I first got the head I was playing thru my old Univox cabinet, and it sounded pretty good. The Mesa stuff is my brothers, so I haven't tried his cab, but I'll check it out and see how it sounds.

I tried it out. It sounds pretty good, honestly I really couldn't tell the difference. The Krank cab is 16 ohm and the Mesa is 8 ohm, but they sound pretty similar. My bro thinks my amp has slightly more bass response.

The sweep basically tweeks the tone to make it real muddy or really nasal. I keep it between 1.5 and 3 for a Dimebag kind of tone.

i think it's the exact opposite from the word "muddy", for me it has a super-super defined gain, super fine for drop-tuned metal rhytms, but at the same time, a bit hard to dial in sweet juicy solo markIVish tone on this thing.. that's y many many people hate krank.. but i think with the right setting and -perhaps- an EQ pedal you could get that juicy solo tone out of a krank..
