Want to say you seem sincere, but I question your motivation. A Christian does not have to leave their faith or be embarrassed of what they have said in the name of truth and God. I am no young chicken and I think that VFX has nothing to be ashamed of ever. Maybe you felt embarrassed yourself before and lost your faith because of it. Maybe it is time to get it back, along with your joy. I do not claim to know for sure but what you say reinforces my own faith in God. No shame in that.
Can somone please help me with this subject? I have seen a few Videos from VenomfangX and dont really understant why some atheists hate him so much. And why is there the possibillity that it could have great negative consequenses for him in the future for his job? Is ther a certain Videoclip from him that might give me some answers?
He wisely removed most of his old videos, but there are still quoted fragments in other people's videos. But, he is back at it. Just watch his channel for more silliness.
I have to admit that it wasn't until watching your video that I even contemplated the idea of having any sympathy for VenonFangX - but now I do. YouTube gives people enough rope to hang themselves. I too am extremely thankful that I didn't have access to this technology when I was younger.

ummmm get out of this while you can? before you lose too much? what are you saying? He should stop working hard for the Lord in order to keep some job 10 years from now?
What reason do you have to doubt it (besides the Bible phrase)??? If you doubt the fact that John was a real Christian, then you are actually saing that he is Lieing!
Yes there are some false Christians that go and make merchandise out of Scripture. The Bible warns of that and you are supposed to watch out for it....God says that our love for Him should be above all...all means all....I dont think that if he made me I have any right to say Hes wrong....
The quote from the bible means to imply that any that are were christian but then decide to get rid of the superstitious beliefs were never christians in the first place. This runs into the No true Scotsman fallacy. To allieviate your anxiety regarding someone that believed but grew out of it, you change the criteria for being a christian such that they no longer fit your definition.
This is a form of cognitive dissonance, wherein observations about the world around you conflict with what you have come to know and so you disassociate the two in you mind to deal with the inherent contradiction. John has made it clear why he moved away from belief to (what I like to call) reality. Until he did so, he would be described as a "true blue" christian. Now, he has shed the mystic hogwash and renounced the faith.
Your only response is to quote from a book and try to convince yourself that he was never a christian, as if invalidating a significant portion of his life is as easy as sticking your fingers in your ears and repeating "it ain't so"
Yes, the bible makes that passage. So did numerous others in many books. It is a classic tactic of cults, of political movements and race-based hate. It boils down to exclusion via declaration. It is a psychological tactic - it has little to do with a god or gods.
At least he'll NEVER be President. His videos will linger on hard drives for a LONG time. His opponents, in ANY public arena, only have to get there hands on one and he's finished.
I know you have sympathy for him Mike. I understand. It's not, ultimately his fault. I'd love to see meet whoever did this to him. But maybe he's a born, dishonest, power mad, callous, ego-maniac. If this is the case we should be grateful his smarts do not see far into the future.

There's no such thing as "The Lord"...
It's incredible that Believer's invisible friends are more important to them than their spouse, family, friends and/or the rest of Humanity.
And it makes them suseptbile to the many, many con menu who capitalize on that fact.
(And I include "The Church" in that)
