I love this show, but those kids can be so obnoxious. Every time Michaela or Sully have a concern about something one of the kids is doing, they can't even bring it up for discussion without the kids throwing a temper tantrum.

...and I can't imagine that outbursts like that were socially acceptable in that era. Imagine the real Laura Ingalls mouthing off at her mother that way. It just wasn't done.

Plus, everytime one of the kids throws a tantrum, Michaela comes back and apologizes for making them angry...  That's why it keeps happening.
