@smcnallen Oh ok, do you know about that they have found a asatro (tempel) building in the Uppåkra viking town here in Sweden during the excavations of this old viking town.

It would be nice to build it up as it once was.

We do that in Scandinavia.

Thank you for the suggestion. Traditionally, Americans have used such poles only for May Day, but I think the tradition of the Midsommarstång could be incorporated easily in what we do and gives us stronger ties to our Scandinavian cousins. I'll promote the idea. Sheila McNallen

Thanks for the comment. Our AFA are packed to the brim with quality activities, rituals, meetings, presentations, meals, music ... We have three decades of practice! The music in the video is by Lasher Keen, which performed on Satruday night just before Steve's Odin Blot. A very powerful combination!
