It sounds to me as if the intro is Ventura on Barry, with the melody played on Bass. Look to his right and you can see the Bass standing with it's big bowl. My guess is that he may have sat down to play the Bass, as many did - in any event, superb, as usual.
But the intro is tenor, not baritone.
