This is a great tip! Getting a weave done for the first time tomorrow and I was having such a hard time figuring out what I was going to to no have the track because my hair is so fine. Thanks!!!!
thank you for the info! is that what you did for this weave..trim down the beard? also do u mind putting up a video tutorial of you doing that please?!
@wana305 I'm sorry I don't make vids :( It's really easy though just take your scissors and cut along the beard. Maybe if you google you'll find a site with a tutorial. You can message me if it's still unclear.
Thank you so much for showing us this method. But I have a problem, I went to try this method with MANY differeny types of weave brands (from regular beauty store to virgin remy) and they all had a common problem.. when i flipped them back over, after sewing the opposite way, the had the short little prickly hairs that stood up and it looks horrible... i guess its the portion where the weave is folded over to make the weft.. and I see the weave you are using weave does not have that!!
@wana305 This is called a beard. It's not all that uncommon nowadays. What you can do is take a pair of shears and very carefully clip it down. I do it all the time. If you get it close enough to the weft, once you flip the weft nothing should be sticking up. Hope that helps!
Glad I saw this vid about doing the track so you do not see it. Will be getting my hair done for the very first time this summer and I am doing a lot of research beforehand.

@MzATig Yes, it can work that way as well. I have some clients that like the invisible look but don't like the part where you have to use a little track and you know it grows out and some people don't want their out for a part. When you are sewing or gluing the last track tou use the same technique making sure to use proper tension for flatness.
I really love that braid pattern because it looks neat and easy. Would you suggest that pattern or what would be the best pattern to use? Because I am doing a partial w/ same horseshoe and this seems ideal.
Please make a detailed video on how to sew in the last weft so that the tracks do not show. I just sewed in my own extensions for the first time and this would be very helpful...thanks!

Ok, you said badly braided base and that was a bit messy BUT I want to do me a sew-in with that pattern intended, except for in the back. My hair is short so I wanted to connect the braids horizonatally and not vertically like in the vid. How do you think that would work???
@PrettiGyrlSwagg If your hair is really short that can work. I don't kno how to explain it though ;-s. You would have to kinda link and sew each one to the next....and then sew them together underneath the bottom so that it kinda lays flat......
my friend always does my hair an i wanna suggest this to her but im confused. do u sew the last track to the previous track or the cornrow? i cudnt see clearly.

@divalee08 I sew it kinda on the weft/track but more so underneath the cornrow..so that it seems like it's tucked under it. If you sew it to the last track/weft only, you'll still be able to see the weft when you flip it over. Hope this makes sense :-)
This is something that I tell all my friends that do hair to do - most have never thought of it, and it makes such a difference!! I never do a partial without doing this. Glad I could help!

Would this work with a full sew-in if you wanted to fake a part without doing an invisible part?!
