When you join the transformers club do u get those toys for free (well u kno first pay for entering the club and a monthly fee right) but yea or do u still hav to pay for those toys?

Nice review as always.

I think my favorite part of this exclusive is the box art. The box kind of serves as a better display piece than the toy itself in my opinion. I think a repaint of cybertron hotshot would look pretty good even though the toy is still not too great in articulation or playability.

i have this exact same toy! i bought it like 5 years ago. but the colors are different.i always thought this was just some generic transformer. i dont remmeber him in the cartoons but the fact that you reviewed him makes me think he is more popular than i thought, that perhaps nigtshot is MORE than MEETS THE EYE?

Dear Kevin I'm a long time fan and love your shows. Theres a few things I'd like to say: 1.) Have you considered getting into stand up comedy cause it could get you the right amount of fame to get your own show on television. I'm saying this cause I find your comments hilarious like the Benjim button disease lol. 2.) Nightbeat? Cool! I loved that character. I used to enjoy the fact that he was a detective. It's nice to see him popping up again.

I gather the powerlink gimmick wasn't removed for this version..was it? I've been trying to think who out of the energon line would look best linked to him. the original hotshot has basically the opposite colour placements ... but I think a pair of rodimus legs would look better with the added flames

It looks pretty sweet though! And I know what you mean on prices.

50 bucks for my HB2 Locker Room Red figure from SDCC...but then again I think it was worth it!
