  • Hello Kultus, I understand your joy when the motor works. I just started building mine. I like your rotor. I saw some of your stuff on I.A.E.C. Forum. I made a website for the forum and posted you in the "Members Page" as you made in the forum. You can find the website link in the "General Discussion" forum... Alan

  • @XLosSantosX , For your first Bedini u do not have to be to specific about wire sizes although 18 for run wire, 26AWG for trigger is the suggested, but still not a exact science, wire gauges can be played with a little, just make sure your trigger wire is smaller than your run, u will want a 1/4 inch core centre that will use up approx 75 feet of wire (per strand), check out the forum in the link we have many discussion and templates for you to work from if you would like to get involved

  • @XLosSantosX it must be said how ever that some have used the same size wire for both run and trigger, but all methods will at least produce for you a working motor...

  • @TheKultus Ok, thanks for the fast answer

  • I wanna build a bedini motor too, but I don't know what wire i should use... It's a bifilar wire right?? So what are the gauges of your two wires and how much of the wire did u use?? My teacher said it would be a perfect project for school.

  • @XLosSantosX sorry I mean bifilar coil not wire

  • I use 12 volt input on the motor, and keep a meter on the charge battery till 11 volts max!! The worst will happen is the battery will swell up and leak / never had any burn up or explode.

  • You might want to see if you can recharge a 9 volt battery, I recharge all my household batteries ,And save some cash while having fun. ps it is also green

  • @allclear7 thanks for the suggestion, sounds like a good plan, I assume I would just power the motor with 9volts to get the desired effect for charging a 9volt battery ? I am still fairly new to this ...

  • Cool!^^

  • you should try making a more powerful one

  • @geraldscott95 I will be adding more coils to it during the next week, I have a 10strand in the winding machine now, I will post more vid's as soon as get it all up and running. cheers for the comments mate :)

  • Wow.. Great job bud!!! Im glad to see that it turned out good. I can tell your really excited and you should be. Im really excited too and now I cant wait to do my bedini. =D

  • @bugs181 has been fun, working on doing 2 more coils now... turned out that the transistor was blown, even though it tested good, runs great now, plenty more vids to come I think :)
