12 nurses charge that the U of Med & Dentistry of New Jersey violated state & federal laws by abruptly announcing in September that nurses would have to help with abortion patients before & after the procedure, reversing a long-standing policy exempting employees who refuse based on religious or moral objections. One of the nurses, Fe Esperanza R. Vinoya, said a manager told her: You just have to catch the baby’s head. Don’t worry, it’s already dead. WP
@ILoveFriedFetus What you said about the cancer screening is not true. People often are referring to PAP smears and mammograms when speaking abt cancer screenings. As far as mammograms go, they don't personally offer them. For Planned Parenthood to be shut down is still pro-life because these women have other options. They also don't care for the unborn; they send women other places for that? Why? Because they are to busy with their main service: abortion.
@ILoveFriedFetus wtf? whats the difference if its inside the stomache or out? hmmm?! i love fried fetus wtf kind of name is that >.< maybe its a fetus but a fetus is a being & its a human fetus meaning its a human being & killing another human being is wrong! no way around it !
@esaflygiirl123 technically speaking, medically speaking, its NOT a baby. my sister is a practicing OB/GYN and ONLY calls the FETUS a "baby" upon the pregnant woman's request. any doctor referring to the fetus as a "baby" or anything other than a fetus (what it actually is) would be considered quite unprofessional. my sister is anti abortion and even SHE understands this. it is NOT a baby until it is born. dont get mad me, get mad at medicine.
@Alcarpediem praying for the end of PP is praying for the end of free to low cost cancer screenings for millions of women, which could mean life or death for them. (so much for your "pro life" stance) ...PP also provides millions of women with care for their fetus while they are pregnant to ensure the child is born healhty. guess you're against that too. gee, kinda seems like you're not so prolife after all!
@MsJK21 Listen to logic, when it says that if you take birth control, but have sex every night, you will eventually get pregnant. I already DO all of the stuff you were talking about, and do NOT mock my religion.
@SwordofSpirits111 Dude, your YT profile says you are only 13. How could you possibly be doing all the things I listed? Don't you know that bearing false witness is against your religion?
Why shouldn't I mock a religion which has oppressed a good percentage of the world's population for centuries? Why shouldn't I mock a religion which thinks that god created people in his image, yet persecute gays and lesbians? Why shouldn't I mock a religion which thinks that women can't be leaders?
@MsJK21 Don't stereotype an entire religion on one mans doing. “I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.” Her openly mocking religion, and God is blasphemy. As Christians we CAN judge her evil doings in order to shed light on the truth. “Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” John 7:24
@SwordofSpirits111 If you were the only religious nut throwing out bible verses as if they mean something, than I wouldn't judge a whole religion by you. But there are a LOT of religious nuts throwing around bible verses as if they mean something. It's VERY annoying that in the 21st century, this kind of ignorance persists.
In my book, blasphemy is ignoring the gifts science has given you and humanity. It's also when you impose your beliefs on others from your arrogance.
@MsJK21 You just confirmed my thoughts that you are an atheist. By the way, without Latin, we wouldn't have many other words, go out and be a productive member of society, and for peace sakes GET OFF OF THE COMPUTER.
@SwordofSpirits111 I'm a scientist, which means I'm a VERY productive member of society who knows that latin is the root of many words. I also know that language evolves. Impromptu, for example, comes directly from the Latin phrase "in promptu" which means “in readiness.”. It's current definition is "improvised or w / o preparation". Surely even you can admit that language evolves!
I'm thinking you are a little cranky, dude, if you think you can order strangers around. TAKE A NAP!
@MsJK21 And if you don't like the video, fine, go somewhere else, and get out of everyones face. Apparently you have nothing else to do, but scream for attention with your comments on something you don't even agree with.
@MsJK21 Christians marry, like everyone else, and they beget children, but they do not cast out their offspring." 250 AD Letter of Diognetus ch.5, vs.6
@MsJK21 Orthodoxy is not 'wack' it is how the 12 apostles intended the Gospels to be. Look up my milestones, and the pain awareness. They recently did a study in England about that, and without Latin we wouldn't have most of the words we had today.
The scary medical papers which pop up on the screen are all about induced labor abortions, which carry about the same risk to future pregnancies as giving birth does. The abortion type under discussion in the video is dilation and vacuum extraction. That has little or no impact on future pregnancies.
A fetal heartbeat can't be heard or felt by the woman until about 9 wks, just as the nurse said.
The anti-abortion "cause" depends on lies to flourish. It is wrong.
IF AN EMBRYO IS CONSIDER A PERSON AT THE TIME OF CONCEPTION WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS DECIDE TO SAVE THE WOMANS LIFE IN CASE OF A RISKY PREGNANCY? Some people just want to talk about the embryos personhood at the time of conception but once the mother is at risk of losing her life during her pregnancy the personhood crap goes down the drain and it is the womans life that is important. Could it be because the embryo is not PHYSICALLY nor MORALLY a PERSON?
Women and their families who find themselves in the situation of having to choose to save themselves or the baby should always demand that the medical staff attempt to save BOTH of them, not one or the other, and that whatever the outcome of this effort is (chance that both die, or one dies, or both live!) they will be satisfied that "no harm was intended for any of the persons involved". This is much easier to live with than "I killed my baby so I could live".
@5060northernmama It is well understood that the doctors will do anything possible to safe both lives the fetus and the mothers, but if for some extreme reason only one can be save it will be the mother first choice. WHY IF BOTH ARE PERSON, OR NOT?
Not a person? BULLSHIT! I have a lot of expirence with disturbing shit, Images, And other stuff....They are real, Including in the video it even SAID they are real from the website shown...And than they are *Medical waste?*
Seriously, If anyone is suggesting this, Please don't do it...It is a terrible thing to do..No matter what people say it is good or bad...
IT IS A BABY, YOU ARE KILLING IT...The nurses LIE.
@SocialDissimulation so by your logic it is ok to euthanize newborns outside the womb because there brains aren't fully formed and so there for they aren't really alive, from the formation of the first cell the unborn human is alive and growing. location and ability to survive on your own does not dictate personhood.
@ddahea No, their brain has a function, they can process pain you moron. And before you go on with your next strawman argument, no, not only pain denotes life. Experience, reaction to stimulus, awareness, organs fully-developed and working at the right stage. When a "being" has NONE of these, then there is no person to murder. If what you say is true, what about all of the implanted eggs that don't make it to the uteran wall, is that a holocaust as well?
@SocialDissimulation so at what week in the womb does it not becaome a womens choice, abortions performed under ultrasounds have shown the baby trying to flee the instruments, prove it wasn't feeling pain. Just because you only have talking points to vomit back at me doesn't mean i am the moron. You do not pay taxes so I guess it wouldnt upset you what these people do with other peoples money now would it? You are trying to justify murder with science and that is as bad as murder with religion
@ddahea You see, a talking point is when you have very little evidence to assert. The reaction is not FEAR, it is like a magnet. When does a woman have a choice to end a pregnancy? Before week 21, since the youngest premature birth was 21 weeks and he lived (although most don't). I do pay taxes, a lot of taxes because I refuse to claim anything, even when it's applicable. There is no person to murder, and the ultrasounds you speak of are when foetuses are much older. (40 weeks+.)
@SocialDissimulation prove when pains begins. you get your income taxes back at the end of the year in the form of your federal and state refund check, if you do not own your own home you are not paying property taxes if you donot own your own busness you are not paying payroll taxes, inventory tax Sales tax on your beer doesnt count junior i find it very hard to beleie at 22 years old you are paying taxes, PP can get along fine without my tax dollar thank you
@ddahea I'm 23, as for when pain begins: when the nervous system can send pain messages to the brain, pretty simple actually. I do get my refund check, but I pay in considerably more than I retain. I don't drink, I've had sex with two women (one was a relationship for two years, the other is my current fiance`), I've never smoked, I've never stolen, I've been issued a driving citation of any sort, or arrested. I'm a generous humanist, and I understand embryology more than most people.
@ddahea Ok if you are paying in more than you get back I will except that you pay taxes fine, But PP is a non profit and if they didn't get our tax dollar we would have one less thing to complain about , the Fed would have once less hold on PP, sounds like a win win for your side, Everyone that feels PP is important can donate to PP, a tithe to what is important to you if you will. i am sorry that you cannot see the God created life form for all the science. I apologize for the beer commit
Up until it reaches the point that it can sustain itself, it still fits the description of a parasite. It feeds off of its host, reducing its overall fitness, even up to the point that it could kill the host. Even the extraction process can be fatal. If you look to the right, there is a link of a 12 year old dying giving birth.
But I'm sure that the 12 year old had it coming, right? By sheer virtue of being female and getting pregnant.
@melancholyid Is see what you mean, by definition. But as a higher form of life as most of us are, we call it still "unborn child", which is "human" Thanks.
@gracehi88 Unfortunately, when viewed as politically, your definition of "pro-life" seems to be the outlier. Not only are they trying to get miscarriage labelled as manslaughter if you can't prove that the death of the fetus wasn't caused by human actions, but they are trying to redefine rape so as to deny women abortions on that basis as well.
The political movers of the pro life movement are more concerned for the life of the fetus more than that of the mother, or even of the child once born
@melancholyid U must be referring to the GOP's recent attempt to narrow the definition of rape in order to make abortion less available to them. That was an unpopular peice of legislation even among pro-lifers. While u may have cited the views and efforts of some groups they do not represent the majority of pro-lifers. Only 23% of Americans would make abortion illegal in all circumstances, while 37% say it should be illegal in most circumstances. Rape and incest only account for 1% of abortions.
I noticed that you said 23 and 37 percent of Americans, rather than pro-life Americans.
But that aside, why do you care so much about a fetus more than the rights of the woman who carries it in her body? At the end of the day, you want to force women to give birth regardless of what they want.
I wish there were some way of removing a fetus in such a way that at any stage, it could still live and grow healthy. That should satisfy everyone.
@melancholyid Yes that would be nice if we could end a pregnancy without ending a life, but that's just not possible yet. I value the life a fetus over the rights of a woman (BTW, I'm a feminist) because a woman's life is only affected by pregnancy for 9 months, while a child killed in an abortion is dead forever.
And the person to blow up in a fit of self righteous fury... was you. You are too emotionally involved with your choice. You can't see the trees for the woods. I'm sorry, I thought you were a rational person and debating with you wasn't a pointless affair. I'm sorry I wasted both of our time.
@melancholyless logic along with facts are my choice, not emotion. You comment proves that you have no debate. And another thing, do not try to pigeon me as the type that would kill innocent Americans or blow up an abortion clinic. You really need to re think your emotion dribble .. I am anti violence and in the past, eliminated people in the name of our government, Leave it at that, CupCake!
The "blow up in a fit of self righteous fury" was metaphor for the way you responded. You screamed in all caps and multiple exclamation marks, rather than asking me to defend my position. Then you went out of your way to insult me. Look at your words, and then look at mine.
Which one of us is the calm, collected, logical one, and which one is the foaming at the mouth ranter?
Individual opinions on abortion stem from predominant values. Which preceedes the other: A womans right to choose or the childs right to live? At what point does the baby deserve to have a right to life? conception, ? ? weeks of gestation, birth, 1 month old, 1 year old? When does it become murder?
Does the childs right to live change when it can feel itself being torn apart, or suffer in the process?
How about at the point that the fetus can be reasonably expected to be able to survive outside the womb on its own, given proper nutrition and care, and be able to grow up relatively healthy?
@DW2CB: Pt3: Making a decision based on what planned parenthood told her she had the abortion two weeks later. She was very depressed and distant afterward, no one except her mother, father, and now ex-boyfriend even knew about the abortion. Durring health class a video was shown about the development of a fetus, she killed herself that night because, as her note said, if she had been told the truth she would have never had the abortion.
@DW2CB: Pt2: and the in-take worker at planned parenthood went right to the abortion option. When she asked about other options she was told that at her age (and small size) it was to dangerous for her to carry a child and she would most likely miscarry (which she already knew from health class) or die in labor (which is actually very rare even back then). They also told her that at 6 or 7 weeks it was just a lump of flesh, it wasn't alive.
@DW2CB: Pt1: Yes, but not out of tollerance yet out of freedom of choice. I stated this earlier. My biggest problem with the conditions you and I both agree on is more often then not the woman (or girl) is blatenly missinformed. When I was in 10th grade I knew a 14-year old girl who had become pregnate (I knew her boy-friend too) and went to planned parenthood for advice with her mother (her parents where willing to help her if she decided to keep the child, which was her original plan)
@melancholyid:Pt1 "What if they did use contraceptives, and they still failed? Lets be honest, how many of us have never had a condom break? My sister had two children on the pill. You don't have to agree with it. You don't have to agree with the death penalty either." What if the powerlines fall in an ice storm? You deal with the choice you made knowing the possibilities for those actions (like choosing to live in an area prone to winter ice storms).
@OverGryph Who cares if she was TECHNICALLY correct about when "you" can hear the heart beat? She was STIIL being misleading b/c the actual question was "When does the heart start to beat?" Even if you're pro-choice, how can you defend PP giving misleading medical info? You wouldn't defend a used car salesman who gave misleading info but this is WAY more important than a car. This is her BODY & her baby. I thought you people were all about a woman's right to her body. Guess not, you hipocryte.
I am defending Planned Parenthood because LiveAction is demonizing them. I feel PP does not deserve to be demonized in this way. I would NEVER support LiveAction, after what I've seen from both sides. Also, you spelled hypocrite wrong. If you're going to resort to name-calling, please don't butcher your words. Also, never ever use the words "you people" when you are addressing a specific person. I do not fall into any category of "you people".
@OverGryph Yeah, you fall into the category of "you people" who scream "women's rights" at the top of your lungs and then defend an organization that routinely lies to women about MEDICAL PROCEDURES. Planned Parenthood is NOT being demonized here. It is being EXPOSED. I would like to know if my health care provider routinely lies to people. It's not "demonization," it's a public service. BTW I suggest you make actual arguments instead of pointing out typos.
Ah, the Euphemisms service us well as history has proven. Verbal Reengineering worked on Slavery, Indians, Jews & now the most innocent & marginalized of them all, a baby in the womb.
Its funny how we say "never again" then we do it again. Different Rhetoric, different demographic, same outcome JPII was right we do live in a Culture of Death. History Repeats Itself.
@melancholyid: Part 3: With that said: biologically a females' reproductive system is not trully ready until maturity (about 17 to 21 years old) so pregnacy becomes 'life threatening' if the 'girl' is not biologically mature. In which case the decision should be left upto the perents and doctor, not the underage/minor child except in the case of incest where a minor is involved the issue should be decided by the state and doctors...
@melancholyid: Part 2: On the same note I believe that a woman should have a free-choice to make an honestly informed decission wheather or not to have an abortion if the pregnacy and/or delivery are life threatening. In the same frame, if the pregnacy is the result of rape or incest the woman should have a free-chioce.
@melancholyid: Part 1: I share that perspective (I was not kept out of love). I agree the system currently in place is overburdoned... I agree that abortion can be used as a tool, I disagree with it being used as a type of birth control for those who become pregnate because they did not take action before hand to prevent such.
How is having an abortion any different from using other contraceptive methods? In every instance there would have been a child born had man and technology not intervened. Abstinence, condoms, Plan B, abortion, these are all just splitting hairs.
Nobody should be forced to carry anything in their bodies that they don't want regardless of how it happened. Maybe they had consensual sex and she finds out the baby will have cystic fibrosis and will suffer its entire life.
@melancholyid Its very different, learn the facts. Preventing contraception vs. terminating a fetus are completely different. Learn the facts. At what point would you consider it not ok to terminate a living being?
Learn the facts? More like "learn the opinion". The fact is, medically, that fetus is not alive until its born. It is incapable of surviving on its own outside the womb up til a certain point. Detaching it from its mother any point before that point will kill it regardless of reasonable measures taken to prevent that.
There is a congressman in Atlanta trying to get miscarriage categorized as manslaughter. Think about that.
@melancholyid No, medical facts. Answer the question. At what point is it ok to terminate a living being. conception, ?? weeks gestation, birth, 1 month old, 1 year old? What defines that point?
Which is it, is it not alive until its born? or, is it not alive until it can survive on its own outside the mother? How do you define alive?
Does it matter at all that the baby can feel itself being torn apart?
I answered your question. Your lack of comprehension isn't my problem.
At the point that the fetus can be expected to survive outside the womb. Any point prior to that, it is more or less a parasite. And we have no compunction against terminating a parasite. That's why we have a death penalty. Sanctity of life my ass.
The guilt trip is pointless. The bible supports it, medical science supports it, laws support it.
We live in a world where life truly is cheap. We put people on death row who ended up being exonerated posthumously by DNA evidence. We die in wars that are started by petty and frivolous reasons and call the murderers heroes. Be want to say that we respect life but fight tooth and nail to block health care that would improve the quality of life. I'm just less of a hyporcrite.
And no, it doesn't matter that the fetus can feel itself being torn apart. It doesn't even have the brain functions required to process and interpret pain at that point. Not til the 26th - 29th weeks. And at that point it is already illegal to do an abortion unless the pregnancy places the mother's life in risk.
@melancholyid IN that you are wrong, the child can feel themselves being torn apart and will even fight for survival at much younger developmental stages than you suggest. If you can actually know the facts on abortion and are ok with it, I mean real facts, not the lies told to women, then I can't convince you otherwise.
I sent you a link from the Journal of American Medical Association, with links to peer reviewed papers. You are asserting an opinion that you hold dear, and expect me to take your word over medical professionals just because you think believing your opinion hard enough makes it true.
My science > your personal beliefs. If you have some actual evidence on the other hand, I'd be willing to look at that. But simply baselessly preaching without supporting evidence is pointless.
"I disagree with it being used as a type of birth control for those who become pregnate because they did not take action before hand to prevent such."
What if they did use contraceptives, and they still failed? Lets be honest, how many of us have never had a condom break? My sister had two children on the pill. You don't have to agree with it. You don't have to agree with the death penalty either.
I've seen your other video that I did not agree w/ as being some cover up. But this one is very disturbing for it lack of accurate information. I believe a woman has a right to make an informed decision. This consult seemed more about getting the business money than providing non-biased information to let the patient decide. LiveAction wins this round.
Question: Should a woman who is carrying her rapist's child be forced to carry it to term? Should she have to put her life on hold, miss days of work, be forced to walk in front of her friends and family with the pregnant belly caused by her rapist, should she be forced to live with the violation of her life for 9 months just because you guys have a problem with abortions?
2) fake debate : "rapist babies" are not even 0.1% of abortion cases. Most aborting women would keep their babies if economically helped by the State, and if not put under heavy pressure from their family, or from the society who criminalize young pregnancy (instead of helping young mothers). But we all know that PP was set to kill black babies by Magaret Sanger. Check the FIRST PRINTS of her texts. Not the sanitized later reprints.
@melancholyid If the "fetus" is a human being why should the baby have to suffer death bc of another horrible incidence? A new baby is ALWAYS a joyful event!
@ckellybabe Really, kelly? How about if the mother's life is at risk or dies as a result of the birth? How about if the pregnancy was due to rape or incest--both pregnancies in which the mother did not have full faculties or abilities to prevent it? How joyful is that?
God, I hope it never happens to you, but if you get pregnant by a rape I wonder if you would feel different. If you would love your child for ruining your life. You could kiss college goodbye, you would have to learn to ignore all the ways your kid looks like your rapist, ect.
Also, in the same way that a seed isn't a tree, neither is a fetus a child. If a woman dies because of childbirth, we don't charge the fetus with manslaughter. Get off of your high horse.
Wait a second, the nurse answers the question about carrying the baby to term by saying that it is safer to abort the fetus than to carry the baby till the end of the pregnancy, meaning giving birth. So, which is it? A fetus or a baby? Or are they one in the same? You can't say that it is not a baby, then call it a baby.
@SwordofSpirits111 And if we all spoke latin today, we wouldn't have words for computer, jelly or automobile! Language evolves, dude, and fetus means a developing human in utero from about 10-11 weeks to term. That doesn't make it a person.
@MsJK21 And the second commandment of the Teaching; 2. Thou shalt not commit murder, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not commit paederasty, thou shalt not commit fornication, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not practise magic, thou shalt not practise witchcraft, thou shalt not murder a child by abortion nor kill that which is begotten." Ante-Nicene Fathers: Volume VII, Apostolic Teachings and Constitutions, Chapter II. -The Second Commandment: Gross Sin Forbidden
@MsJK21 I ran out of room for this, first of all, don't call me a 'dude' I'm not a huge fan of being called that. Second of all they differentiate between touch and pain, breathe (fluid) and try to get away during the abortion. We all know that they have a heart beat at 18 days, brainwaves at 6 weeks, sucks thumb at 7 weeks human DNA from day 1. Most women don't find out they're pregnant until 8 weeks.
@SwordofSpirits111 Dude, your developmental milestones are WAY off! We all know that brain activity isn't even present until about 20 weeks and there is no significant brain activity until week 24 or so. Even so, that doesn't prove pain or even awareness.
Also, none of that makes a fetus or embryo a person. Do you know who is a person? The pregnant woman. Let her make her own decisions about what to do with her body! There's a lot at stake.
@SwordofSpirits111 In fact, fetus is latin for "young still in the womb". It applies to all mammalian species (except the platypus), not just humans.
@MsJK21 Look, we're going to argue until the end of the world and never agree, we BOTH know that, now go to a video that you agree with and stop making enemies by mocking Christianity.
@SwordofSpirits111 Why should I go to a video with which I agree when there is so much ignorance right here? What makes you think you can order me around without looking like a pissant tinpot dictator? Why shouldn't I mock christianity? It keeps people in darkness, superstition and hatred!
@MsJK21 Since your a scientist how about the most important scientific fact? Nothing comes from nothing 'dude' apparently you've gotten wrapped up in the cares of the world.
@SwordofSpirits111 Agruably, the most important scientific 'fact' is probably the Laws of Thermodynamics. Some would say it was Newton's Laws of Force and Motion. What about any of them?
You bet I care about the cares of the world! All over the world, women are forced to give birth to children they don't want. Especially vexing is the situation in Colombia, where women can be forced to have a forensic vaginal exam at any time and a miscarriage triggers a criminal investigation!
@CptCrik It's a fetus from about week 10-11 to term. Carrying a fetus to term means carrying the pregnancy to term so you produce a baby, a person. The nurse misspoke. What she didn't misspeak about was that there are a lot of risks to pregnancy, so abortion at every stage is safer than continuing the pregnancy.
@MsJK21 I am going to have to disagree with you on making a distinction between a fetus and a baby, they are one in the same. When you put all of the ingredients together to make a pizza and put it into the oven to cook, and someone asks, "What is in the oven?" You would say, "It is a pizza." So, when all of the ingredients are there, in the womb, at the moment of conception, and they are "cooking" in the womb till the timer goes off and you give birth, it is a baby, the "bun in the oven."
@CptCrik LMAO!! Oh my. You know that reasoning by analogy only works when your analogy is good, right? Otherwise you look like a complete moron.
Embryonic and fetal development is NOTHING like baking a pizza nor any kind of cooking. It's embryonic and fetal development! Go to Wikipedia . org and look up pre-natal development, please! Or don't. If you don't, you are sure to make me laugh again!
I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody who asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness I will guard my life and my art.
Hippocratic Oath -- Classical Version
A nation that kills its own children is a nation without future.
@teton99 "I swear by Apollo, the healer, Asclepius, Hygieia, and Panacea, and I take to witness all the gods, all the goddesses, to keep according to my ability and my judgment, the following Oath and agreement... To hold him who has taught me this art as equal to my parents and to live my life in partnership with him, and if he is in need of money to give him a share of mine, and to regard his offspring as equal to my brothers in male lineage... " Hippocratic Oath - Classical Version
@teton99 "Historically, a fetus has never (or very rarely) been considered a human being, at least not before "quickening", an old-fashioned term indicating noticeable movement of the fetus. The Catholic Church even allowed abortion until quickening, up until 1869" -- Joyce Arthur
"The second commandment of the teaching: You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not seduce boys. You shall not commit fornication. You shall not steal. You shall not practice magic. You shall not use potions. You shall not procure [an] abortion, nor destroy a newborn child" (Didache 2:1–2 [A.D. 70]).
@teton99 LOL!! Yeppers, sure the Greeks were liberal. They were ruled by dictators, waged constant war, believed in oracles and even when Athens went democratic, only male land-owners could vote. More like real conservative with all that and trying to controlling women's bodies, too!
Plot...undermine ??? They (PP) are doing good job of that themselves. Only a complete idiot would make a statement like "then the doctor has every right to pull out a revolver and blast that dumb baby through the skull." But then again, in the case of bearmania, maybe that would have been the best thing for the world. There are way to many alternatives to abortion that a DOCTOR should, could and does recommend before abortion. Taxpayer dollars going to PP needs to end NOW!
I am 43 years old and been many places. I've seen people die. I've held people as they died. I've been witness to many atrosities by the hands of men. This is the only subject that ever brings tears to my eyes: I can't understand how anyone could ever harm a child, an innocent who cannot defend themself. An innocent whose only voice is that of a complete stranger. An innocent who did not ask to be yet is. A future destroyed through the greed of others. A child murdered because of selfishness...
@TurbotortoiseStickle You say that, but you only seem concerned about the kid until it is born. Then fuck it. Nobody cares whether that child is going to have inept parents, grow up with a life of abuse, without proper medical coverage, or getting shuffled into an underfunded system where they have to try their best to appear loveable and cuddly in hopes of getting adopted, or spend their life being shuffled through foster care... not to mention the percent of women who die in childbirth...
@TurbotortoiseStickle Very thoughtful, Tubotortoise. Would you tolerate as a reasonable happy medium, then, an abortion in cases of rape, incest, or in which the mother's life is in danger (given that in these cases, there is no greed on the part of the mother)?
@degrasi135790 ? I don't understand the comment. If you're asking my view of what a rape victim should do, my answer is that everyone else should leave it up to the victim. Not a court or religion. Niether you nor I have a right to decide in such a matter, only the victim has that right.
@TurbotortoiseStickle Dry your eyes, cause this ain't no baby. It is a "possible" baby, and it has no right to life if it's mother so chooses. You anti-abrtion people need a better perspective. MYOB. You're not the ones making the decision, so quit trying to force your tyranical views on those of us that don't ascribe to your foolishness. You need a hobby. Take up skydiving without a parachute? That'd be a good place to start.
@sep0507 If you actually did your research, 1 you'd realize I am an advocate of freedom of choice: I am against abortion being used as a method of birth control: especially when my tax money is being used for such. You want an abortion, go to a real hospital and pay for it your self, don't leave the tax payer stuck with the bill. What ever the cosaquenses of your actions, that's on you not me. 2. Open a 5th grade science book. 3. Take your own advice, I don't care.
@TurbotortoiseStickle You can't be an advocate for freedom of choice and be anti-abortion for birth control. The ignorant among our society are the ones using abortion as a form of birth control. And I doubt the number of women having more than 1 abortion is quite smaller than you think. Of course, the only way to find out is go to a zealots Web site and use their figures. LOL If YOU did any research you'd know that NO TAX DOLLARS were being used by Planned Parenthood to provide abortions.
@sep0507 Your 1st sentence is a narrow view: yes, one can be for freedom of choice and against abortion as a means of birth control. I agree with your second sentence. We are in agreement about the low number of women who have more then 1 abortion, but that trend has been changing over the past decade. I don't bother with zealots, their narrow-mindedness causes more harm to their cause then their oppision can. Southern Tier NYS paid for more then 18,000 abortions last year through medicade...
@TurbotortoiseStickle Most states follow federal guidelines, but 17 states use their own determing factor to use federal funds to pay for abortions, NY being one of them. I don't care that federal funds are used because it's used for those that have no viable means. To deny those women because they're poor is not providing equality under the law.
@TurbotortoiseStickle I bet you haven't held a woman dying of septicemia or hemorrhage because of a botched illegal abortion, have you? The fact is that legal abortion saves women's lives. Women will seek to terminate unwanted pregnancies no matter what, so it's important to give them access to safe and legal abortions, no matter what you think. Anything else is unreasonable.
The embryo or fetus is not a child. It is a fetus or embryo. They are not persons. The pregnant woman is a person.
@MsJK21 If you read my comments you would see I am an advocate for freedom of choice. First step to making an informed decision of one's own is haveing all the available information that is provided be truthful and neutral. In this case planned parenthood lied and therefore took that right from the person they lied to. Secondly, you would have noticed that no-one with half a brain condones abortion as a method of birthcontrol unless they have something to profit from it.
@TurbotortoiseStickle You are not a very good advocate if you think fetuses and embryos are children!! You may not notice the editing in the video, but it is there. It's not good evidence of any wrong doing, as all the attorney generals this tape was given to have concluded.
What is ironic is that Live Action might be facing criminal charges for illegal recording in some of the states. That will be interesting to watch as it plays out!
@MsJK21 And no, I was not talking about you. There's the website I go to for this stuff was talking about how this one singer has a somewhat satanic message.
@MsJK21 If your only arguement for abortion is that rhtoric fetus garbage take it somewhere else, that arguement is countered by any 5th grade science book in the chapter about reproduction. There is a big difference between coercing someone to turn a profit / abetting in child prostitution and illegal recording of a video, especially when the video is catching those persons engaging in criminal activity.
@MsJK21: It could be possible that you would rather be lied to when asking about medical information, yet most sensable persons rather hear the truth and make an informed decision.
@TurbotortoiseStickle My argument for abortion is that women will get them whether they are legal or not because the burden of an unwanted pregnancy is too great for most of them to bear. When abortion is illegal, women die from illegal abortions. That is why abortion should be kept legal and safe; it saves lives. Also, women are the only ones who make that decision since they are the ones bearing the burden.
Since a woman is a person and a fetus is not, that is perfectly fitting.
@MsJK21 You will see eventually when heaven comes to earth, “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the idolaters and all liars- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
@SwordofSpirits111 You will see once you hit puberty that life isn't cut and dried. Life has a lot of grey areas and wisdom, not dogma, is required to make good decisions. You will also find that your religion contains more absurdity than wisdom.
Live for this life, avoid lying, be tolerant and kind to other people and learn as much science as you can muster. Also, avoid ordering people around; i's childish. Good luck!
@SwordofSpirits111 haha, i love you say good luck in the afterlife as if you have proof of this so called afterlife. yet, you have none! i dont need luck, i have logic and reason.
@SwordofSpirits111 Pascal's Wager (yawn). you could also be praying to the wrong god considering there are nearly 50, 000 of them in history. your chances of being right are literally 1 in 50,000. not good odds.
@TurbotortoiseStickle The video proves nothing. The videomakers put up some scary paragraphs from science papers which don't apply and edit the video to make the medical advice given seem to not make much sense.
This video doesn't catch anyone engaging in crimes. Are you writing about another video as you were writing to someone else a day ago?
good job trying to undermine an organization thats just trying to provide medical advice and services to poor people. How evil of them and righteous of you liveaction. If Jesus were around im sure he'd try to run undercover operations with hidden cameras implicating organizations like this in the child sex trade industry. Bravo
Not only do I support abortion. If a doctor who delivers a baby looks at the parents and sees that they are a couple of irresponsible idiots who already have 11 kids, then the doctor has every right to pull out a revolver and blast that dumb baby through the skull.
Great work exposing the ignorance and deception of people working at PP. This is a crying shame, and more people need to know how deceitful they are. Just make sure you don't violate Scripture as you expose their lies.
you guys at live action are not only pathetic, but also deceitful. Where is your "faith"? You realize your breaking one of the commandments. I hope you all go down hard.
@TheNiox What's more pathetic is that you overlook the lies and deception for the purpose of murdering innocent life in the womb, while trying to find fault with exposing such lies. You need to look in the mirror for your "pathetic."
@CRoadwarrior You're funny. I wonder if you even read that book you hold so dear. You shoudl recall that your "God" killed every first born male child of egypt. He did this to "punish" the parents. Those children would undoubtedly be innocent, only having parents that committed the sin. Your god sounds worse than Hitler buddy. Thank "god" it's all made up ;). The fact that you call yourself the "christian road warrior" shows your blatant disregard for what Jesus preached.
Rather than be anti-abortion, why aren't you pro- voluntary contraception instead?
It's cheaper, more positive and reduces unintended pregnancies. I find it contradictory when, often religious, anti-abortion groups don't realise this.
YOUTUBE removes a video with TRUTH in it, and leaves thousands of disgusting, graphic almost pornographic videos. Am I the only one who senses some alliance and protection to Planned Parenthood??? and If so, wouldn't YOUTUBE be also as responsible as PP is for hiding this statutory rape cases?? SHAME ON YOU YOUTUBE and your interests which are put BEFORE the rights of FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!
I visited that heres the blood website.. Couldn't be real enough. People need to recognize the gruesomeness behind abortion. I honestly cant see how people can do these procedures.
Its 23 days in a closed circulatory system. However, you will not be able to hear the fetus' heartbeat until 6 weeks. Technically the weeks of pregnancy begin the first day of the last period, though conception doesn't occur until 14 days after that typically (so you aren't actually pregnant the first two weeks of your pregnancy). So when you are between 5 and 6 weeks, approximately 23-30 days after conception, you will be able to hear the heartbeat.)

PALOMITA694 9 months ago
@PALOMITA694
5060northernmama 8 months ago
@5060northernmama It is well understood that the doctors will do anything possible to safe both lives the fetus and the mothers, but if for some extreme reason only one can be save it will be the mother first choice. WHY IF BOTH ARE PERSON, OR NOT?

A heartbeat does not denote life -- the brain function does. Death is defined when the brain stops working. Bad argument.
SocialDissimulation 10 months ago
@SocialDissimulation so by your logic it is ok to euthanize newborns outside the womb because there brains aren't fully formed and so there for they aren't really alive, from the formation of the first cell the unborn human is alive and growing. location and ability to survive on your own does not dictate personhood.
ddahea 10 months ago

You are trying to justify murder with science and that is as bad as murder with religion
ddahea 10 months ago
@ddahea You see, a talking point is when you have very little evidence to assert. The reaction is not FEAR, it is like a magnet. When does a woman have a choice to end a pregnancy? Before week 21, since the youngest premature birth was 21 weeks and he lived (although most don't). I do pay taxes, a lot of taxes because I refuse to claim anything, even when it's applicable. There is no person to murder, and the ultrasounds you speak of are when foetuses are much older. (40 weeks+.)
SocialDissimulation 10 months ago
@SocialDissimulation prove when pains begins. you get your income taxes back at the end of the year in the form of your federal and state refund check, if you do not own your own home you are not paying property taxes if you donot own your own busness you are not paying payroll taxes, inventory tax Sales tax on your beer doesnt count junior i find it very hard to beleie at 22 years old you are paying taxes, PP can get along fine without my tax dollar thank you
ddahea 10 months ago
@ddahea I'm 23, as for when pain begins: when the nervous system can send pain messages to the brain, pretty simple actually. I do get my refund check, but I pay in considerably more than I retain. I don't drink, I've had sex with two women (one was a relationship for two years, the other is my current fiance`), I've never smoked, I've never stolen, I've been issued a driving citation of any sort, or arrested. I'm a generous humanist, and I understand embryology more than most people.
SocialDissimulation 10 months ago
@ddahea Ok if you are paying in more than you get back I will except that you pay taxes fine, But PP is a non profit and if they didn't get our tax dollar we would have one less thing to complain about , the Fed would have once less hold on PP, sounds like a win win for your side, Everyone that feels PP is important can donate to PP, a tithe to what is important to you if you will. i am sorry that you cannot see the God created life form for all the science.
By sheer virtue of being female and getting pregnant.
melancholyid 1 year ago
@melancholyid Is see what you mean, by definition. But as a higher form of life as most of us are, we call it still "unborn child", which is "human" Thanks.
mediaphotographer 1 year ago
@melancholyid You clearly don't understand the pro-life view. VERY few pro-lifers would deny a woman an abortion if it threatened her life.
gracehi88 1 year ago
@gracehi88 Unfortunately, when viewed as politically, your definition of "pro-life" seems to be the outlier. Not only are they trying to get miscarriage labelled as manslaughter if you can't prove that the death of the fetus wasn't caused by human actions, but they are trying to redefine rape so as to deny women abortions on that basis as well.
The political movers of the pro life movement are more concerned for the life of the fetus more than that of the mother, or even of the child once born
melancholyid 1 year ago
@melancholyid U must be referring to the GOP's recent attempt to narrow the definition of rape in order to make abortion less available to them. That was an unpopular peice of legislation even among pro-lifers. While u may have cited the views and efforts of some groups they do not represent the majority of pro-lifers. Only 23% of Americans would make abortion illegal in all circumstances, while 37% say it should be illegal in most circumstances. Rape and incest only account for 1% of abortions.
gracehi88 1 year ago
@gracehi88
That should satisfy everyone.
melancholyid 1 year ago
@melancholyid Yes that would be nice if we could end a pregnancy without ending a life, but that's just not possible yet. I value the life a fetus over the rights of a woman (BTW, I'm a feminist) because a woman's life is only affected by pregnancy for 9 months, while a child killed in an abortion is dead forever.
gracehi88 11 months ago

Individual opinions on abortion stem from predominant values. Which preceedes the other: A womans right to choose or the childs right to live? At what point does the baby deserve to have a right to life? conception, ? ? weeks of gestation, birth, 1 month old, 1 year old? When does it become murder?
Does the childs right to live change when it can feel itself being torn apart, or suffer in the process?

@DW2CB: Pt3: Making a decision based on what planned parenthood told her she had the abortion two weeks later. She was very depressed and distant afterward, no one except her mother, father, and now ex-boyfriend even knew about the abortion. Durring health class a video was shown about the development of a fetus, she killed herself that night because, as her note said, if she had been told the truth she would have never had the abortion.
TurbotortoiseStickle 1 year ago
@DW2CB: Pt2: and the in-take worker at planned parenthood went right to the abortion option. When she asked about other options she was told that at her age (and small size) it was to dangerous for her to carry a child and she would most likely miscarry (which she already knew from health class) or die in labor (which is actually very rare even back then). They also told her that at 6 or 7 weeks it was just a lump of flesh, it wasn't alive.
TurbotortoiseStickle 1 year ago
@DW2CB: Pt1: Yes, but not out of tollerance yet out of freedom of choice. I stated this earlier. My biggest problem with the conditions you and I both agree on is more often then not the woman (or girl) is blatenly missinformed. When I was in 10th grade I knew a 14-year old girl who had become pregnate (I knew her boy-friend too) and went to planned parenthood for advice with her mother (her parents where willing to help her if she decided to keep the child, which was her original plan)

TurbotortoiseStickle 1 year ago
@melancholyid: Part 2: On the same note I believe that a woman should have a free-choice to make an honestly informed decission wheather or not to have an abortion if the pregnacy and/or delivery are life threatening. In the same frame, if the pregnacy is the result of rape or incest the woman should have a free-chioce.
TurbotortoiseStickle 1 year ago
@melancholyid: Part 1: I share that perspective (I was not kept out of love). I agree the system currently in place is overburdoned...

At what point would you consider it not ok to terminate a living being?
ryanjames731 1 year ago
@ryanjames731
Think about that.
melancholyid 1 year ago
@melancholyid No, medical facts. Answer the question. At what point is it ok to terminate a living being. conception, ?? weeks gestation, birth, 1 month old, 1 year old? What defines that point?
Which is it, is it not alive until its born? or, is it not alive until it can survive on its own outside the mother? How do you define alive?
Does it matter at all that the baby can feel itself being torn apart?
ryanjames731 1 year ago
@ryanjames731
I answered your question. Your lack of comprehension isn't my problem.
At the point that the fetus can be expected to survive outside the womb. Any point prior to that, it is more or less a parasite. And we have no compunction against terminating a parasite. That's why we have a death penalty. Sanctity of life my ass.
melancholyid 1 year ago
@melancholyid If the child can't survive on its' own, it doesn't deserve life? How do you so easily brush off life?
ryanjames731 1 year ago
@ryanjames731
I'm just less of a hyporcrite.
melancholyid 1 year ago
@ryanjames731
So, what is your point?
melancholyid 1 year ago
@melancholyid IN that you are wrong, the child can feel themselves being torn apart and will even fight for survival at much younger developmental stages than you suggest. If you can actually know the facts on abortion and are ok with it, I mean real facts, not the lies told to women, then I can't convince you otherwise.
ryanjames731 1 year ago
@ryanjames731

What if they did use contraceptives, and they still failed? Lets be honest, how many of us have never had a condom break? My sister had two children on the pill. You don't have to agree with it. You don't have to agree with the death penalty either.

Question: Should a woman who is carrying her rapist's child be forced to carry it to term? Should she have to put her life on hold, miss days of work, be forced to walk in front of her friends and family with the pregnant belly caused by her rapist, should she be forced to live with the violation of her life for 9 months just because you guys have a problem with abortions?
melancholyid 1 year ago
@melancholyid
1) The child is not guilty of his father's sin
2) fake debate : "rapist babies" are not even 0.1% of abortion cases. Most aborting women would keep their babies if economically helped by the State, and if not put under heavy pressure from their family, or from the society who criminalize young pregnancy (instead of helping young mothers). But we all know that PP was set to kill black babies by Magaret Sanger. Check the FIRST PRINTS of her texts. Not the sanitized later reprints.

Yeah, and the Nazi's pioneered rocket science. Doesn't mean that we can't take it and use it for more peaceful purposes, like transportation.
Actually, according to the bible, the child IS guilty of the father's sins.

@melancholyid If the "fetus" is a human being why should the baby have to suffer death bc of another horrible incidence? A new baby is ALWAYS a joyful event!
ckellybabe 1 year ago
@ckellybabe Really, kelly? How about if the mother's life is at risk or dies as a result of the birth? How about if the pregnancy was due to rape or incest--both pregnancies in which the mother did not have full faculties or abilities to prevent it? How joyful is that?
DW2CB 1 year ago
@ckellybabe

@CptCrik
Silly, it's a "baby" if you want it and a "fetus" if you don't. It's that simple... and horrific.

@CptCrik Fetus, is Latin for baby.
SwordofSpirits111 5 months ago
@SwordofSpirits111 And if we all spoke latin today, we wouldn't have words for computer, jelly or automobile! Language evolves, dude, and fetus means a developing human in utero from about 10-11 weeks to term. That doesn't make it a person.

Thou shalt not commit murder, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not commit paederasty, thou shalt not commit fornication, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not practise magic, thou shalt not practise witchcraft, thou shalt not murder a child by abortion nor kill that which is begotten." SwordofSpirits111 5 months ago
SwordofSpirits111 5 months ago
@SwordofSpirits111 Dude, your developmental milestones are WAY off! We all know that brain activity isn't even present until about 20 weeks and there is no significant brain activity until week 24 or so. Even so, that doesn't prove pain or even awareness.
Also, none of that makes a fetus or embryo a person. Do you know who is a person? The pregnant woman. Let her make her own decisions about what to do with her body! There's a lot at stake.
MsJK21 5 months ago
@SwordofSpirits111 In fact, fetus is latin for "young still in the womb". It applies to all mammalian species (except the platypus), not just humans.

MsJK21 5 months ago
@CptCrik It's a fetus from about week 10-11 to term. Carrying a fetus to term means carrying the pregnancy to term so you produce a baby, a person. The nurse misspoke. What she didn't misspeak about was that there are a lot of risks to pregnancy, so abortion at every stage is safer than continuing the pregnancy.
MsJK21 5 months ago
@MsJK21 I am going to have to disagree with you on making a distinction between a fetus and a baby, they are one in the same. When you put all of the ingredients together to make a pizza and put it into the oven to cook, and someone asks, "What is in the oven?" You would say, "It is a pizza." So, when all of the ingredients are there, in the womb, at the moment of conception, and they are "cooking" in the womb till the timer goes off and you give birth, it is a baby, the "bun in the oven."

An innocent whose only voice is that of a complete stranger. An innocent who did not ask to be yet is. A future destroyed through the greed of others. A child murdered because of selfishness...

@TurbotortoiseStickle You say that, but you only seem concerned about the kid until it is born. Then fuck it. melancholyid 1 year ago 2
@TurbotortoiseStickle Very thoughtful, Tubotortoise. Would you tolerate as a reasonable happy medium, then, an abortion in cases of rape, incest, or in which the mother's life is in danger (given that in these cases, there is no greed on the part of the mother)?

@sep0507 If you actually did your research, 1 you'd realize I am an advocate of freedom of choice: I am against abortion being used as a method of birth control: especially when my tax money is being used for such. You want an abortion, go to a real hospital and pay for it your self, don't leave the tax payer stuck with the bill. What ever the cosaquenses of your actions, that's on you not me. 2. Open a 5th grade science book. 3. Take your own advice, I don't care.
TurbotortoiseStickle 8 months ago
@TurbotortoiseStickle You can't be an advocate for freedom of choice and be anti-abortion for birth control. The ignorant among our society are the ones using abortion as a form of birth control. And I doubt the number of women having more than 1 abortion is quite smaller than you think. Of course, the only way to find out is go to a zealots Web site and use their figures. LOL If YOU did any research you'd know that NO TAX DOLLARS were being used by Planned Parenthood to provide abortions.
sep0507 8 months ago
@sep0507 Your 1st sentence is a narrow view: yes, one can be for freedom of choice and against abortion as a means of birth control. I agree with your second sentence. We are in agreement about the low number of women who have more then 1 abortion, but that trend has been changing over the past decade. I don't bother with zealots, their narrow-mindedness causes more harm to their cause then their oppision can. Southern Tier NYS paid for more then 18,000 abortions last year through medicade...
TurbotortoiseStickle 8 months ago
@TurbotortoiseStickle Most states follow federal guidelines, but 17 states use their own determing factor to use federal funds to pay for abortions, NY being one of them. I don't care that federal funds are used because it's used for those that have no viable means. To deny those women because they're poor is not providing equality under the law.
sep0507 8 months ago
@TurbotortoiseStickle I bet you haven't held a woman dying of septicemia or hemorrhage because of a botched illegal abortion, have you? The fact is that legal abortion saves women's lives. Women will seek to terminate unwanted pregnancies no matter what, so it's important to give them access to safe and legal abortions, no matter what you think. Anything else is unreasonable.
The embryo or fetus is not a child. It is a fetus or embryo. They are not persons. The pregnant woman is a person.
MsJK21 5 months ago
@MsJK21 If you read my comments you would see I am an advocate for freedom of choice. First step to making an informed decision of one's own is haveing all the available information that is provided be truthful and neutral. In this case planned parenthood lied and therefore took that right from the person they lied to. Secondly, you would have noticed that no-one with half a brain condones abortion as a method of birthcontrol unless they have something to profit from it.
TurbotortoiseStickle 5 months ago
@TurbotortoiseStickle You are not a very good advocate if you think fetuses and embryos are children!! You may not notice the editing in the video, but it is there. It's not good evidence of any wrong doing, as all the attorney generals this tape was given to have concluded.
What is ironic is that Live Action might be facing criminal charges for illegal recording in some of the states. That will be interesting to watch as it plays out!

MsJK21 5 months ago
@MsJK21 If your only arguement for abortion is that rhtoric fetus garbage take it somewhere else, that arguement is countered by any 5th grade science book in the chapter about reproduction. There is a big difference between coercing someone to turn a profit / abetting in child prostitution and illegal recording of a video, especially when the video is catching those persons engaging in criminal activity.
TurbotortoiseStickle 5 months ago
@MsJK21: It could be possible that you would rather be lied to when asking about medical information, yet most sensable persons rather hear the truth and make an informed decision.
TurbotortoiseStickle 5 months ago
@TurbotortoiseStickle Nobody was being lied to except the viewers of this video.
MsJK21 5 months ago
@TurbotortoiseStickle My argument for abortion is that women will get them whether they are legal or not because the burden of an unwanted pregnancy is too great for most of them to bear. When abortion is illegal, women die from illegal abortions. That is why abortion should be kept legal and safe; it saves lives. Also, women are the only ones who make that decision since they are the ones bearing the burden.
Since a woman is a person and a fetus is not, that is perfectly fitting.
