  • How big do they get. the lady a the pet store I went to told me that I needed a 55 gallon long tank for ONE! but you have quite a few in there. and your tank doesn't seem that big.

  • @Gottahavemybowl420 They can grow up to 12-17 inches long. A 10 gallon is usually okay for 1 or 2.

  • how much u sale me one for?

  • how beautiful! i love the tall grass. perfect for little fish. x3

  • your tank is to deep for exaloti man!

  • are these little white things shrimps?

  • That's an axolotl, they were found in a lake(?) in Mexico. They are most easily bought in Mexico, or even some US states~ They aren't as common elsewhere, b/c their 1 natural habitat was that lake, and it's taking time for breeders to breed them, or for them to be exported..

  • where do u buy those inst those like in tha deep sea

  • hey, is that a gecko?

  • I'm so jealous of this tank and axolotls!! :D, are there small fish in that tank cz I can sort of see small white things??plz answer thanks :)

  • @Teeklip

They just feed the axolotls with small (living) shrimp. That's what you see in there.

  • when i first saw an axolotl, the first thing i said was "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!?!?"

  • @Cizza225

They are very unique little creatures.^^

  • that water is too high!

lower it because it will make them struggle to get air

  • @49Halley

This is not my tank, it's of a zoo. But well, I visit this tank about every a year, since i was born, I don't think they have a problem in it.

  • @49Halley thats what the gills are for.

  • @londonlad777

Ok, an important addition to my comment. =)

  • were do u get them from

  • @tejjaw

This is none of my personal tanks. It's a tank of a zoo which i visited. I don't know where they get them from. Sorry.

  • Damn you have so many. I am extremely jealous

  • @matthewdro the person who made the video doesnt own them he video says in a fish tank @ a Zoo Aquarium

  • @monkeyman410

Hi, thank you very much. Some people seem to read the title or the info box.^^

  • @matthewdro

Unfortunally it's not my tank, It's a tank of a zoo near my hometown. (But i'm also jealous). :D

  • Really Cool tank!

  • @animalmastermtd:

Axolotl are such cute guys. =)

  • @n03lzz

    They are so cooooooool

  • @n03lzz how many times a week do you feed your axolotles?

  • das nenn ich mal ein axolotl becken ^^ ich liebe diese kleinen tierchen =)

  • Ja, das sind wirklich sehr coole Gesellen.

  • what is that short plant that looks like a cambomba in front of the tall ones

  • Those are Elodea often called waterweed.

  • ok thanks

  • Axolotl are amphibians ja, oder reptiles they look like they are part of the nute family.

  • Hi, where are you from? You are using german words?^^

They are amphibians, they belong to the family of the Mole salamanders.

  • Ich komme aus Trinidad und Tobago, ich bin Jamaica geboren aber jetzt, wohne ich in Deutschland. Lol Thanks for the info on the Axolotl, what is the typical price for one in Germany?

  • Sehr cooler Lebenslauf, Respekt. Welche Sprache ist dir am liebsten? Können auch deutsch reden ;).

I don't know a typical price, because they are very rare to buy.

  • Ich glaube English ist besser als Deutsch, weil mein Deutsch nicht so gut ist. Aber manchmal Deutsch und manchmal english ist acuh gut. I am sure i made some mistakes there lol.

  • Your german is not bad, i can understand you excellent.

Let's come to a compromise: We just mix up both languages. ;)

  • Deal. :)

  • @MinTrinidad you german is pretty good, dont worry^^

  • are they real plants if so do u use co2 thanks

  • That's not my tank it's of a Zoo Aquarium near my hometown, but those are real plants and i don't think that they use any co2.

  • those are cute! lol

  • Yes, they really are.^^

  • sadly here in mexico they populations are in danger because the bad water and polutions in the xochimilco lake also the pet traficc make the axolote in danger of extincion in their habitat

  • That's a very sad background information, but direct from their homeland. Thanks alot for this.

  • are there tadpoles in the water

  • You mean those small nearly transparent ones e.g. at 0:05 ? Those are feeding-shrimp.

  • thanks,

  • don't they attack each other?

  • Sorry, I'm no expert in axolotl.

  • No they hate being alone even though they are fairly solitary they don't like to be lonely and get on well as long as their similar sizes.

  • no they dont if u have big enough tank

  • awesome setup.

  • Yeah, right! I love to watch it, everytime i'm at this zoo.

  • Es gibt Vallisnerienarten die unter Kaltwasserbedingungen, auch in unseren Gewässern gut wachsen.

  • Hallo,

    schön groß isses, ja. =)

Aber es ist ein Becken des Aquazoo-Löbbecke Museum Düsseldorf.
