hey man love the videos, would you please tell me what all you did to your foreman cause i'm thinking about steping up to a 450 from my 300, now i already know you have the supertrapp exhaust, but is it the mudslinger or the ids2? what else? lift?performance? cosmetic?
@charley5054 Nah, only deficient if you don't know how to ride... most quads that go full lock endup having alot more drivetrain breakage.. axles etc, 10,000kms and still running strong.. but yes very very reliable, check the oil, choke it, 2 throttle pumps, and were laughin ..
@hondaisthebest14 You said it.. Honda's hard to kill, it's pushing 10,000 kms now, it's been worth every penny and then some, don't think I'll ever part with it. Even if I do get a new one, I'll keep this to thrash around on
Are you blind ? LOL Those are kenda executionners,... you obviously don't know what your talking about, LOL BTW, I checked the last few posts you wrote on different items, you like to disturb people don't you, LOL, go play elsewhere, no time for wanks like you !!!!
good old hondas. they will go through so much crap without breaking. SHAFT DROVE. I wasted a can am 800 with my 1986 250 fourtrax. the guys belt smoked up.
@givermoosehead2 dude i know i got some on my foreman rubicon they're badass im gonna be getting 27X10's all around here soon i just got my wheels yesterday so i'll make a vid and show you how honda supposed to roll
"how honda supposed to roll" ? Didn't know there was a set standard as such..ahhaha.. clown. You hold it to the floor and hope for the best, no rocket science in that LOL.
i have no idea.... but honda's are sweet whelers reliable, power, and they just look good as soon as i get my tires on my wheels i'll post a vid to show u wut it looks like
I've just used em in the mud because i live in soutwest arkansas and it never would snow last year.lol They do really good in the mud until you get high centered and then you about need a helicopter or somethin to get it out.lol. As for the negitives, they are hard to turn and are bad on tie-rod ends and bearings( they would probobly be alot easier in snow). I love em though cause until you highcenter your about unstopable.
also i was reading some of the comments above and just to help you out, all ive ever seen a locker do is break axles and strip out front ends. Like on the brute forces they have a button to make it full four wheel drive and i have a buddy that uses it alot. every time he uses it, he brakes an axle.lol If three tires cant get u out, get a winch...probobly wouldnt be any more than getting and installing a locker, and would save axles.
Thanks for the advice on the lockers, I kind of figured it would endup breaking something, my buddy had a Grizzly and it would kill the front axles from time to time. I agree about the winch also. As for the tracks, do you use them in the snow ? or just in the mud. Thanks again for the advice on the lockers !!!!
there is a lot of different tracks but as far as i know the cattracks are all the same. I havnt seen any that looked differnt than mine. I dont know when they was made. Also my bike dont have es or s wrote on it. It just says Honda Foreman Rubicon. ive seen some 500s that werent rubicons that said es but never just s.
im running tjd cattracks on my bike. I dont know about the 450s cause i have a 500 but i have ran 28" mudzillas, 30" mudlights, a couple sizes of super swampers, and some 29.5 swamp lights without any problems and ive never had a clutch kit or a gear reduction. Super swampers are really light, do good in the mud, and come in big sizes....it would be a good way to get clearance without breaking stuff or having to install parts.
What year are your tracks ? Meaning is there a version # or a mfg year date on it ? Reason I'm asking is I'm looking to buy some for this winter, is your quad the ES version or just the S ?
your honda can get alot bigger....check out mine...vid is a little blurry cause it came of a cell phone.....i can clear a bucket all the way until it gets to the rear
Alot bigger ? My cv joints on the axles are a 1/2 inch from becomming a major breakage problem. Your running tracks, the only way I can get bigger is if I put 29.5 outlaws on it, then my rear axle will clear more, I'm not shitting on you, but, if I put 29.5's on it, I have to go gear reduction and clutch kit, not ready for that.
if you had a bigger lift you could of made that hole with ease. the foreamns are bad. they can make it through some stuff. My friend has one and it is stock, he can make it throuh a lot of holes
Well, I've got a Perfex Lift Kit, and Highlifter springs, anymore than that and I've got drive line issues, could have bigger tires, but gear reduction must come with that, I don't have the money to do that right now, but it's in the works...thanks for the comments !!!
Know the quad, knowing where it came from etc, history of it, check wheel bearings and swing arm bearings, have the compression checked, could save you tons of money.
Well I think anyone will agree that the "muzilla's" are probably top notch, but real hard on a quad if your going to trail ride, and I've heard good things about the Highlifter MST. What I'm running here are Kenda Executionners, for the money, and all around use, meaning trail, mud, even not so bad when plowing snow, great bang for your buck !
I'll tell you this, I can't find a reason to part with it, it's 5 years old, 9000kms and they were trail, work, plowing snow, and what you see above !!! ahahah
More power would be nice, but the rig never breaks, I mean yes it can be broken, but, pushing it to it's limits all the time doesn't bother it..ahahha.
Nope, Suppertrap Mud Slinger, toughest, best sounding, bang for your buck pipe that I have found yet, oh, and it does this regularly and I've got 2,500km's on it, no signs of weakness, and it still SHINES !
Looks like you were spittin water outta the tail pipe..did you suck water into the engine? Honda's are a great machine but i dunno why they are behind the times and don't have a IRS (besides the Rincon) and why there is no diff lock. Not a much of a Polaris fan but i love the shift on the fly AWD system to.
No, no watter went anywhere dangerous, I've been doing this for years, there is some condensation I mean I'm in a mud hole. haha. But no, seriously, no water went in, it's got 9000km's on it and it's been beat all its life, on tuff rig. As for lockers, I can get a kit for it, but I'm putting tracks on it next winter for snow and I don't want the locker in there for that reason. Thanks for the post ! Oh, and solid axle, get some logs twitched behind er' and we'll see how that IRS does ;)
Yeah i have a 03 Foreman ES. Looks just like yours but mine is green and it is a tough machine. I beat the hell out of it and it never lets me down. I rolled it in a river and it floated upside for about 200 feet. I rolled it back over and it fired right up and kept on riding. I wasn't sayin nothing bad about Honda i love em but i also love some of the other features that other manufactures have
Ya, tell me about it. It always hangs up, but that's when you have to crank on the throttle and giver. HAHA. Check out the other vids, I did quite well comming in from the other side of the hole.
C'est bon les boys! vous avez lair de tripper autant que moi sur cette machine la! j'avais peur qui la calle quand y ''crossais '' le gaz debout sur sa moto... tien lé la prochaine fois ca va éviter l'eau de rentrer dans le pipe.
I can't see why not, are you going to run them all around ? I wouldn't go 26, the biggest thing you'll notice is you might lose some top end. goodluck with that.
great vid, i got a 450es,do urself a fav get a lift for it.I got a 2" lift, highlifter lift springs, snorkel kit,but stuck wit 25's swamplites their ok. total dif quad
well...I know but I'm kinda scared of the locker, worried it rips the front of the quad apart, but the way I'm headed with it now I just might throw it in for the heck, u got some vids of ur bud ? I'd love to see them if so, I don't doubt it helps, but I'd rather see it in action first. They do have low end torque, but no wheel speed, which is why they arn't much good up against an auto tranny quad.
ill try to see if i still got them i know he does on his cam but his comp got wrecked. i think gorilla makes them but you can get warrantys through most of the companies
To be honest, the Kenda's are a better all around tire, amazing on the trail. However, to dig down, and find the hard, they do the job. The only other thing I found is that the Kendas aren't much good for grip in reverse, but neither are most tires. The 589 tread is a bit different, somewhat straighter lines, making it a BIT better in reverse. Go 26
Tires are Kenda Executionners. As far as I'm concerned best, lightest, least expensive mud tire on the market, and also VERY VERY good on the trail...no handlebar dancing.
sweet i have some for my outlander. and wut r u talkin about lightest? there fuckin heavyyy 29 pounds a tire i need a cutch kit for them. and ya dude they were cheap 64$ a tire and i havnt got to test them out in the mud yet but soon
So if you compare it to the 589 which is what I had, I'm lighter. That's what I was getting at, apples for apples, and tread design play a major role, As you can see no worries turning them in the mud with only a 450,
Why do I need a Snorkle ? LOL I don't do river or pond runs, I enjoy the mud. Tell you what, I'll sell you the quad, then you go put a snorkle on it, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, i'll get some sleep tonight... ok princess ?
lmfao if you think blue smoke from the engine is water then that means your 4 wheeler must run on water and mud. dont think so dumbass. haha you just made yourself look stupid. show this video to anyone smart and they will know its burning oil. lmao
Ok you were a waste of sperm..tell me why when I'm standing on the back of the bike..at the time you say it's starting to smoke, notice how the rear rack touches the water, stating facts here, once you dip an exhaust under water,it will not come out "invinsable" as you claim it will. It's dirty fucking water..your gonna see it comming out of the exhaust after I hammer the throttle wide open from a fully closed position. IT'S CALLED MUD IN THE EXHAUST..Your such a dumbass..go back to preschool. Kid.
ya it is a mix because that isnt blue smoke thats dirty water coming back out. somepeople dont know shit but whatever just dont listen to them...hey man looks like fun. so how do like the 45o because thats what im saving up for
As you can see, it's tuff as nails...I've had minimal maintenance on this Foreman, except for a small problem I had with the exhaust Valve seats on the head. The 350's and 450's are known to do this, it can be repaired, but I just opted for the new head, was as much to get it fixed...but other than that it's strong enough to work, and strong enough to play, not so bad on gas either...harder than stock though because of jets and pipe etc. I'm throwing alot of fuel into the bike, rich.
i thought that was funny. ( yep she burns a bit oil thier by, what the fuck are you talkina bout thats water n mud hittin the exaust. aah what a dumbass.
Dude was like ahhahahahahahahahaha lol

ohh i have 25's. but wut do u think is a better mud tire the 589's or the kendas
willynilly69 3 years ago
To be honest, the Kenda's are a better all around tire, amazing on the trail. However, to dig down, and find the hard, they do the job. The only other thing I found is that the Kendas aren't much good for grip in reverse, but neither are most tires. The 589 tread is a bit different, somewhat straighter lines, making it a BIT better in reverse. Go 26

to late now : / i already got 25 but i think we r goin for a mud ride saterday and ill tell u how they do
willynilly69 3 years ago
wut type of tires and exhaust?
willynilly69 3 years ago
Suppertrap MudSlinger, best, tuffest, raunchiest pipe for this type of riding.
givermoosehead2 3 years ago
ah i wish they made one for an outlander 400. im goin with hmf i want the mudslinger though they sound nice
willynilly69 3 years ago
Tires are Kenda Executionners. As far as I'm concerned best, lightest, least expensive mud tire on the market, and also VERY VERY good on the trail...no handlebar dancing.
givermoosehead 3 years ago
sweet i have some for my outlander. and wut r u talkin about lightest? there fuckin heavyyy 29 pounds a tire i need a cutch kit for them. and ya dude they were cheap 64$ a tire and i havnt got to test them out in the mud yet but soon
willynilly69 3 years ago
Tire Width Height Rim Weight
ITP 589 M/S 12 26 12 33
Titan 589 M/T 12 26 12 33.5
Super Swamper Vampires 12 26 12 34
Maxxis Mudzilla 12 26 12 34.4
High Lifter Outlaw 12 26 12 34.9
Kenda Executioner 26x12x12 rear is 32.40
So if you compare it to the 589 which is what I had, I'm lighter. That's what I was getting at, apples for apples, and tread design play a major role, As you can see no worries turning them in the mud with only a 450,

get a snokle for stupid
bevis21365 3 years ago
Why do I need a Snorkle ? LOL I don't do river or pond runs, I enjoy the mud. Tell you what, I'll sell you the quad, then you go put a snorkle on it, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, i'll get some sleep tonight... ok princess ?

check out how much oil that thing burns at 37 seconds and on. blue smoke = oil!
hondakodiak 4 years ago
you have no clue whatsoever dude...IT'S A MIX OF WATER AND MUD ... ahahahha... your such a moron.. LOL
givermoosehead2 4 years ago
lmfao if you think blue smoke from the engine is water then that means your 4 wheeler must run on water and mud. dont think so dumbass. haha you just made yourself look stupid. show this video to anyone smart and they will know its burning oil. lmao
hondakodiak 4 years ago
Ok you were a waste of sperm..tell me why when I'm standing on the back of the bike..at the time you say it's starting to smoke, notice how the rear rack touches the water, stating facts here, once you dip an exhaust under water,it will not come out "invinsable" as you claim it will. It's dirty fucking water..your gonna see it comming out of the exhaust after I hammer the throttle wide open from a fully closed position. IT'S CALLED MUD IN THE EXHAUST..Your such a dumbass..go back to preschool. Kid.
givermoosehead2 4 years ago
ya it is a mix because that isnt blue smoke thats dirty water coming back out. somepeople dont know shit but whatever just dont listen to them...hey man looks like fun. so how do like the 45o because thats what im saving up for
justin250ex 4 years ago
As you can see, it's tuff as nails...I've had minimal maintenance on this Foreman, except for a small problem I had with the exhaust Valve seats on the head. The 350's and 450's are known to do this, it can be repaired, but I just opted for the new head, was as much to get it fixed...but other than that it's strong enough to work, and strong enough to play, not so bad on gas either...harder than stock though because of jets and pipe etc. I'm throwing alot of fuel into the bike, rich.
givermoosehead2 4 years ago
It's not oil man. LOL AHAHAHAH ROFLMAO. lol
That's water and mud comming out of the exhaust because that's how deep it is.. LOL
givermoosehead2 4 years ago
i thought that was funny. ( yep she burns a bit oil thier by, what the fuck are you talkina bout thats water n mud hittin the exaust. aah what a dumbass.
