c'mon, you think Gladiator spoke english? william in braveheart spoke english? tvb makes all ancient chinese speak cantonese. american tv and movie families speak with different accents. all of them are unreal, but so what? they are only movies / drama.. and watchers have to understand.

heres the inherent problem. English is Singapore's mostly widely understood language and that was spoken by Nonyas, due to their upbringing. So they could have been easily accomplished.

Nyonyas from Switzerland?? first time hearing of it, are you all Chinese and Swiss mixed? actually the show "The Little Nyonya" was broadcasted on TV in Mandarin with English subtitles in Singapore, this is just a 'leaked' trailer. In Jan 2009, they have officially released DVD sets.
