This show is geared for tweens and teens. With that said, it is pretty cool considering the age demographic it's being catered to. I like how they show many of the villains from the comics. Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker is a cool villain in the comics and is pretty cool on this show as well. PPl quit complaining, it's the best cartoon I've seen in over a decade.
This show is awesome. The drawings are pretty good and the storyline is good too. Iron Man is by far the best character but they are all cool in there own way. The villains are cool too. Can't wait for season two. Finally a good superhero cartoon. There hasn't been one since Batman Beyond ended.
I like this show but I have one major complaint about it.
The character of Loki is one of the central villains in the first season.
Now I've recently watched the live-action Thor movie and Loki in that film was brilliant. He was well-developed, sympathetic and tragic. A good complex villain.
Here though, he's just your average "wants to take over the world" bad guy.
Such a disappointment after such a good performance in the film.

I think you mean the art style, aesthetic, or visual style. Because the 90s shows had an aesthetic that completely matched the comic. Which actually hindered the animation. The 90s shows had pretty bad animation.
This show has a stylized streamlined art style which leads to impressive animation.

@5HREDD3R i would usually agree with you that most of the new cartoons hows are nothing compared to the 90s version... eg turtles, voltron, gi joe, transformers..... but this show is better, or as good as its 90s xmen spiderman shows..this is just a teaser trailer it looks a lot different , and is much MUCH MUCH BETTER IN THE ANIMATION DEPARTMENT!!... give it a chance you will love it... it feels like an eighties cartoon.. and the animation is top stuff.. AND HAS A KICK ASS THEME SONG!!

Have to stress on the fact that the animation is nothing like what it is in this clip... it is animated very well!!! x men the 90s version was good, but the animation and character movement and reactions to certain events is not as good as you might think... Just watch the first 2 episodes , you will love it

Dude young justice may be good, but avengers has way better heroes. Since young justice is on the young heroes is cool, but come on you can't compare them to the avengers. Shows cool, but this one has a way better story and heroes in my opinion. Justice league unlimited was the best thing i've watched from dc universe, young justice doesn't feel the same. I love the version that is being used now. The cartoons remind me of times gone by when you would go crazy on Saturdays for the best cartoons ever. I'm 17 for the record, and life's been bad, but this series puts a spring in my step. Brings childhood back. And the voices are great too. I don't think this Iron Man is better. Plus JARVIS is cooler with his fancy accent. Overall, this series is just about the best cartoon on TV.

yea i was impressed.... the avengers series is so far, so good... I was a huge fan of the justice league story arcs, it'll take some time to amount to their success. but I sense a great start for the avengers!

Don't let your assumptions get in the way of actually watching the show. Try watching the micro episodes first to get a feel for it, all of them are on youtube.

nah. i wouldnt call it fan made, except for the fact that the makers of this show are big fans of the comics.
this was an earlier test footage trailer. which is why the designs are a bit different.

And i personally don't like gatchaman, but thats just ME, but power avengers is OK, despite the fact that hawkeye sounds like wolverine, and hawkeye and wonderman look/sound gay for each other, and altron keeps echoing but other than that, its good... not awesome like Avengers:earths mightiest heroes, but good. :)

I havent see the actual show, but honestly this trailer doesnt really spike my interest :/ i dont know i do like The Avengers comics, I guess i'll have to give it a try, just seems more geared towards younger kids. I'm kind of feeling Young Justice might be something ill watch more of.

I'm not feeling this to much... i feel after disney got ownership over marvel the marvel cartoons were toned down a bit. i think that it's an awesome idea just the art style doesn't seem to really suit it as well. that's just my personal opinion. i think the style in the first avengers movie was a bit better.

the ship in question is Kangs. Who goes back to the present to find Captain America at the end of the premiere episodes.

Why did they make the backgrounds look so awesome and detailed and then the characters themselves are ridiculously minimalistic, exaggeratedly cartoonish, and. Well. Ugly. -___- It reminds me of Transformers Animated. Which, granted, was a good show, but I never liked the taking-shortcuts designs on that, either.
