holy hell!!! PSP remakes seem to have DOUBLE the balls that their predecessors did in terms of spell graphic upgrades.

its also way easier every level up = 100% HP and TP restoration but base HP and TP only.

So the 30% HP and TP via Black Onyx and Moon Crystal accessories equipped will NOT be restored per level up.

Though for this version of the game this version of Dhaos can be hard to kill even on normal mode at level 35.

@darkfoxs1 This version is better, faster (battle-wise), there is an extra character : Rondoline, and other things. Go for it ^^

This battle lacked INDIGNATION! ... and an armlet equipped on Cless, since Daos just mauls you with his laser while Cless is dizzy.

On another note, the dynamic battles from ToP even more dynamic thanks to the non game freezing magic? BEST. VERSION. EVER.

This is what was missing in every version, to avoid it later in the game I always got rid of Arche and Claus :D

Sweet. No annoying cut-ins for the spells and summons. It got really annoying having to watch Klarth point his finger into the sky screaming, "IFREETO!"

@Sprotret You got that right.... I played Phantasia PSP before I knew X edition had that nifty feature. It really made a huge difference in enjoyment.

In this battle we learnt that if Cless is dead, Dhaos has acces to Overusing his Dhaos Laser, Killing off the entire party with ease (:

I use this combo..

Kogahazan + Majin Sohazan + Gurenken , Then backstep away and do this again and again.

It cost less tp, but damage isn't bad + can stop enemy from what they're doing too.

You know with the 10,000 TOP remakes, you think they'd upgrade ALL sprites. Not just-redo a few sprites and call it a "remake." It's actually just really annoying.

Well Dhaos's HP on normal mode is 30,000 at 60,000 this video shows the battle can't be set to normal mode.

Err, I don't think this is the final battle with Dhaos. This seems to be the first battle in the past. You then fight him once more in the present and a last time in the future, which IS the real final battle.
