When you upload and run the app to the device from Xcode (the IDE you use for developing apps) the phone is unlocked without you having to slide with your finger.

So each time you run your newly baked app from the mac, the phone is unlocked and the app runs. :)

Where Can i find a tutorial to do a clock?... My ipod touch has Big Bugs: when it recharges, its showing that the battery is full, The Sleep button doesnt work... can you make a tutorial 4 a clock PLease?

@RXJuday that's weird about your iPod. Well, I programmed this clock to work with broken screens.

If the touch screen works you could probably just download an alarm app from the appstore and use your ipod that way ^^

For the aluminium frame: I just measured the screen, made a template of paper and then drew the thing on a thin aluminium plate. The it was easy to saw out the piece. I used some violence and a hammer to bend the aluminium so it could stand ^^

You know the screen and digitizer are only 60 to be replaced right? My iPhone had a huge crack down the side of it and it's only 60 off ebay to do yourself.

That's fricken awesome!! My iPhone 2g has some dead megapixels on the bottom of the screen but they still work when you touch them. It's fully functional

Well, my first intention was to make this app for my broken iPhone, and not to release it.

And therefore it's not available on the appstore (actually, it's not even finished yet).

I've programmed it, not bought it. Just to clarify.

This is just a "look, I've made a clock with my broken iPhone"-video :-)

I may release the app after it's finished.
