Classic Game Room HD - Wii CLASSIC CONTROLLER review

I love the Classic Game Room but this review is way off. This controller sucks balls.

This is by far the worst controller ever made by Nintendo. The joysticks are flimsy and awkwardly placed. The whole idea that you have to connect it to the Wii-mote is so insanely stupid. I've owned this controller and ebayed it straight away. It feels like a shoddy chinese knock off and the C button is impossible to reach. Do yourself a favour and get a Wavebird/Gamecube controller instead.

@BlueBloodTasty I think the body of the controller is good, and if your only going to be using the 4 buttons +d pad its great. However I would agree with you when it comes to the joystick locations and the shoulder buttons (all 4 of em) are shit, absolutely horrible for the purpose of snes games or otherwise that use the shoulder button often. I been looking around for ideas on how to mod mine to give it a better purpose, or even correct the flaws.

luv the wii classic controller, so much like the original Snes controller, but with all the little things we're used today like the Analogs. That said my only little bone I hav to pick with it is the fact u hav to constantly hav it plugged in2 ur wii Remote just to use it. This may not bother most, but for me Im type of gamer that wen I really get in2 my games, Im waving the controller arnd as if Im really tryin to dodge stuff lol, so having the remote chained 2 me isnt always helpful lol.

I'm a nerd myself, so don't get me wrong. But you should carry a knife that is sharp enough to slice off the top half of that package, allowing it to be accessed easily.

@StyrbjornStarke i think about 25 to 49% of games are compatible. Try to get the goldeneye 007 pack if it is new because it comes with the game and the classic controller pro. And also most of the games that are compatible with classic controller can also use gamecube controllers.

@Domhazeproduction Oh that thing. It's for attaching it to the wii remote via a bracket that Nintendo never released because they came out with the pro version instead. Nyko made a third party version of the bracket that you can find online though. Search for "Nyko Wii Classic Controller Grip"

I bought quite a few good games for the Wiiware. But realized that it's just a waste of money when you don't have an account to save your purchases on and download again. Yeah you can move DSI Ware to 3DS but still the same damn thing! I sold my 3ds with so much DSI Ware gone! All that money gone!!! Fuck Nintendo! Especially with the price drop, second slider pad, no descent games, 3d sucks, there's just so many problems with Nintendo and there 3ds. Hope they fail miserably like Sega!

I like the Classic Controller, but it's very awkward to use, plus it also drains batteries (because you have to connect it to the Wiimote). I'd rather use the GC controller; because most Wii games that support the Classic Controller, also support the GC controller.

@PSspecialist Agreed. Even though I think that Sony's and Nintendo's D-pads are both good to use; but Sony's barely wins, because it has individual spaces for each direction. The Xbox's D-pads are horrible, in my opinion, both the Xbox and the Xbox 360.

If I put the D-pad first too people would call me a Sony fanboy. For me it's more like: D-pads 1. Nintendo/Sony 2. Microsoft.
