i want too do 250 kmh on the stuart highway n87 in the northern territory! unrestrict it stupid labor party..seriously, 335kw is very piss poor for a supercharged v8...it makes fpv's engineering look bad. I mean, the 6.2 litre naturally aspirated v8 in the mercedes amg cars produces 386KW!

@twinturbonissan300zx , the ford costs about 70 odd thousand, it has a 1.2 litre smaller engine, and off the showroom floor is 12 odd second 1/4 mile, and i`d bet its not far behind the big benz on qaurter, on the other hand the Amg cost about: $234900, a bit more than the ford, so it looks like fpv have done a good job to me, also a  heap of these 335 gt`s have been put on different dyno`s it would appear 335 kw is closer to the rwkw figure.

They are brilliant and do everything though. You can drive this car everyday, take it to the track or tow a boat with it, all with a boot full of stuff and a family in it. They are really well suited to the Australian way of life and our shitty roads. Also there is a $45,000 younger brother (the XR6 Turbo) and a slightly detuned version of this car (FPV GS) which has 315Kw and a price tag of slightly above $50,000 (im pretty sure).

You should also remember we earn more here in Australia, but thats due to the fact everything is more expensive, so if it were to go on sale in the states, it would be cheaper (minus tariffs)
