@TheBreddflock10 New this guitar will run between $4000-$6000, depending on exactly what grade of top, pickups, etc. you order. The price for a very nice used version of this model guitar is probably around $3000.
@potterholic713 You can by an Epiphone Version, basically there's a cheap epiphone Les Paul, and an Expensive Epiphone les Paul, the expensive one is around 800, and has a really good sound, not as good as gibson, but you'd be surprised how close, research it!
@yellowpwns97 LOL...I can play it either way of course! I just chose not to use power chords on this video. After all, they are certainly easier to play than standard chords.
You must have an awesome ear.. and thanks for taking the time to post such an elaborate video... I love the switching back and forth from the 12 string to electric.. keep them coming... I subbed..
@7uptheirons Thanks! Yes...that is one of the Cream Posters from the reunion shows at Madison Square Garden in 2005. I was at 2 of the 3 shows and they were great.
@SRV1DOORS1HENDRIX1 Well, my whole house does not look like this room...LOL Although I have almost completed a new room for thisstuff(art and instruments) which is about 2-3 times the size of the old one and soon I'll be moving all of my musical equipment into the new space. Eventually, I hope to get back to making some more videos. Thanks for watching.
@TheSpacecowboy101 Thanks! I think the effects were basically reverb and some distortion from a Yamaha DG Stomp preamp, and that was all. I plugged it all into my Fender Hot Rod Deville 4-10 and that was it.
You're a true genious Buddy on both electric and acoustic guitars.you've mastered them both.Ibelieve it's technique and skill that make a musician great regardless of brand or other so called effects.Keep up the good work . Ajoy to listen and watch.
@jamesalindsay Well maybe I shouldn't say this because I'm a firm believer in the fact that you should have freedom of speech...but, 95% of that 10% are probably idiots in the literal sense of the word! I'm not implying that everyone should like what or how I play either...because more often than not, I am not satisfied with my playing either...LOL
i like ur tone and fingering, but why didn't you use power chords on the chorus? it gives it a simpler, but powerful effect, rather than the sound of full chords
@76bostonforever Thanks! I play it with power chords sometimes. It just happens that I used actual chords on this particular video. Sometimes I change things around and add little twists to a song just for the fun of it.
hey man nice playing. can you do a cover of fly by night chiliwack? or maybe closer to the heart by rush? your an awosme player man keep on keepin on!
do you have the volume turned up pretty loud to get that nice distortion or is it mostly just your distortion pedal? i have a HotRod Deluxe and i'm curious as to how loud the Deville has to be turned up before it starts getting distorted. I like that wicked tone and that Les Paul, nice work!
Thanks! Some of it is from the pedal(Yamah DG Stomp) and some from the amp. The DeVille is a loud amp but it has a master volume that helps you get the tone without full volume..but even with that, it's a pretty loud amp.
Pretty good man. The only thing i can complain about is that he actually uses bar cords and not just g d c and shit but other than that nice job! I saw boston just a couple years ago unfortunately it was onlt Tom Scholz and some new guys but at least they had him all i care about is the guitarist great cover!
Buddy, you might find this funny. I saw Boston when their album first broke at Winterland in San Francisco in the 70's. They had a couple of encores, and then they came out and said "We are kind of a new band, so I hope you don't mind if we play another song again!" Never saw that before or since. How about a nice cover like you do!
Cool! I saw them once myself...but they didn't need to ask to an encore by that time because everyone was on their feet expecting one. They were great. -BC

Awesome Clontz. I bet you and Scholz of Boston would click! How about his self designed pedals in the 70s?! Was he a gifted tinkerer or what? Not many people today play their own instruments let alone design their own pedals! Great tunes! Love hearing that Rickenbacker on other vids.
Thanks! I'd like to meet Tom Scholtz....but musically he is way ahead of me so I know I couldn't keep up with him in that way...but still, I love the music he and Boston created. -BC
Great cover, recently learned this song myself. I'm so jelious of all your great vintage axes. All I have is a $500 epi lp copy, a $100 nameless tele, and a $100 epi acoustic
