OBE Q&A Series - What's The Point REALLY in Having An OOBE?

rich, I've been having spontaneuos OBE's for the last couple of weeks... they kinda creep me out... I dunno what to do, they kinda mess with my sleep :-s

@WhoKilledMickeyMouse - Well, what kind are they? Long, short, in your room, in other worlds? Are you seeing scary things, or what. What's creeping you out abt 'em. For me the first few were scary but after that it got pretty cool.

@Rich2150x They are pretty scary... its always dark and I start hearing these voices... also one time there was this dude, kinda like a shadow (very scary!), I usualy (try to) stay in my body... only time i've had real OBE was on heavy dose of K and that was with friends so I wasn't alone... I think that's also what creeps me out... Being alone with these unkown entities (I have major trust issues with entities/people...long story...)

@WhoKilledMickeyMouse - Hey that's, ok, there's people I don't like and don't too, and if I went through what you probably did, I'd felt he same way you do. And these shadow entities - these fuckers have been around for fucking ever messing with people, lurking around them. I don't think they can hurt you, only scare you and I think that may be their main reason for hanging around you - they can tell you are waking up Spiritually & thus able to go obe and start finding out the truth & want...

@WhoKilledMickeyMouse i was also afraid to OBE ,afraid to see any ugly face.but a week ago i lay down and sleep and find myself sleeping in another room and awke to see a shadowy "gargoyl"at the foot of my bed staring at me /So i get furious like an inner power and i ..** beat him up,(lol) sent him to space and ask him (or any other )to come back for more.Sounds simple but wasnt coz theyve been torturing me for years .So now the question is..can we really treat (or overcome)everything with love?

what is your take on people who had a very negative life, you know.. depressed, suicidal, feeling theres no purpose in life.. and then suddenly start having all these spiritual experiences like OBEs, clairvoyance, lucid dreams etc out of nowhere?

is this a sign that this person is being helped or guided by some divine entity on the other side? if so, what should this person do to communicate with their guides?

@BritneylandPark - 1) It might be a sign that your pineal gland is activating. And your kundalini energy is rising. Its also a sign of the ascension thing if you are into that. The cosmic energies as they hit earth are making changes of all kinds, including changes in our spiritual awakening and ability and stuff like that. So maybe that's what's gong on. And yes it can also be a sign your guides and friends 'over there' are helping you. To communicate with your guides and friends...

@Rich2150x 2) To communicate with them there's different thing you can do...first of all they can probably easily hear you already -but hearing them back, can be the part to work on. Michael Sharp suggests imagining a cone horn/funnel sort of like coming out the top of your head that projects way up into the cosmos for the guides to funnel back their communications. But you can also imagine your guides in your dream worlds. Invite them in, grant that they' are your guides & talk to them there.

@Rich2150x 3) If you're good w/ imagination & stuff you can create a safe place for them & invite them to visit you there & if you have an idea what they look like or what you'd like them to look like, they can take that form easily enough. Or you can do breath work where you breathe deep 10 times & on the exhale, ask the question you want your guides to answer & give it a abt 10 days or so. I used to ask my guides to show me sumthing in an obe that would be good for me to know, that worked well

For me in the beginning it was strange and something new and unexplained. At first, I thought I was just the only person but when I research...it turns out there are many more with these experiences. The way I see it, it's something that we don't understand 100 % so if you decide to continue, best advice is to continue cautiously. Take it step by step as learning how to walk. I'll say this much. You are in control of whatever you decide to allow. Concentration is d key.

I've had different OBE experiences. Some were just warp speed into the nothing kind of like traveling in space passing stars. Some was travelling into a different world. Not of these are dreams. Only you will know if you are dreaming or not. Because I've experienced a few now. I'm confident to say that if you are scared...your mind will play tricks on you. If you are not scared, eventually you'll get to experience more and better things as if walking at the park. Good job Rich!

@boxnix101 The fear is getting me a little bit. I get to the point where your body feels like it's falling (You are still awake, but barely.) and my breathing patterns rise and I just jolt back up. I can actually get to those stages easily though. I have only been to the vibrational stage once... It was weird!

Rich I know a good reason for obe!A month ago I was in an obe an was dancing and singing with native americans.I felt energy rising in my chest and I was aware of my physical and astral body at the same time.I felt the strong energy in my physical chest too.Robert Bruce says that that is dangerous but since then my hart chakra is opener than ever and I have more understanding for love, empathy...So obe can help you open your chakras!!!!Be careful do.Peace!

My answer to this is, to find out answers, exploration, etc...

Having an OBE sounds exciting. I hear that time does not matter when in the "astral plane". Dunno if thats true or not.

That belief system thing is what I also heard, but from william Buhlman. He said that if your a christian, you will go where they go etc... which limits you to other places.

Hmm, I wonder once we "die" if we get to choose if we want to live another physical life or not.

But I think it can be kinda like being tricked into choosing - we get to choose sure, but sometimes we may not have all the facts straight, and if we knew all the facts, we might not choose too - sort of like that. So we have a chance here now to learn as much about it all as possible, just in case... ya know?
