I asked Joey at a show and he says to play it in standard.

Fazumatu is right its built around the 6th fret. You have to do some reaching with the pinky but its not so bad.

dude, this isn't even worth discussing. Joey is sicker live, better voice, better guitar skills. Don't get me wrong, Claudio is the man, better song writer perhaps...and thats even a stretch.

Joey wins hands down.

They are both very good vocalists. I don't know if Joey could have stood up to Claud's vox back in his prime a few years ago. Either way, both of them are great musicians.

there is no such thing as better, its personal preference of style and the way its put forth in to a song and then it comes back to personal preference. I personally like the way 3 puts music together better, but that's only my preference. love what you love and leave the rest to be loved by others.

Joey is better in technical phases, but as far as just overall Claudio has passed him by huge huge amounts. I bet if you asked Joey though he would say Claudio is better, and if you asked Claudio then Joey is better. Different styles, two great musicians, just enjoy them.

Claudio destroys joey with the amount of power behind his voice, but as far as technicalities are taken into consideration joey does have the upperhand, but claudio by FAR is alot more powerful ESPECIALLY in the higher range.

You guys should seek out his older recordings, anyone who enjoys this video, taking the time to find joeys older records and solo album, is WELL worth the search. Its by far his best material. He should have been huge years ago, but he just keeps hitting walls i think. Its unfortunate. but those of us who know of him are lucky that we do.
