Just get a NEMO cosmo air packs really small like a neoair and has an integrated foot pump and the quality between the 2 is laughable with the neo air being just a gimmicky flimsy potato chip bag.
@maurigian1 You comment does nothing but show your lack of understanding on the subject.
The neoair is half the weight of a nemo or more, and to call it a potato chip bag is whats really laughable cause ive slept on it well over 100 times now and its holding up just fine.
Do you own both of these pads? Have you done longterm testing of both of them.
@widerstand Lack of understanding? What is there to understand its just sleeping pads not rocket science. I own both pads the neo air in L and a cosmo air in regular both about same dimensions 25x76 if im correct the neo air weights 550g while the cosmo air is 810g if you hold both you cant really tell the weight diff plus they pack to the same size...however i dont have to bring a giant condom to protect the cosmo air so subtract that weght and bulk.
@widerstand And also i stopped using the neo air since it sounds so crunchy when you move around, no to mention the material feels horribly plasticky when u use it in the summer, and you have to inflate it with you mouth and all that hot air shrinks when it cools at night and so does the pad...if you like novelty items i guess the neo air is perfect...and thats all the neo air is a novelty item that needs to be babied nothing more nothing less.
@mostcanwait Good question! I have no idea since I have never tossed at a scale but Tyvek is 1.8 ounces per square yard and I think there is less then 2 yards here plus thread. If you really want I can go to the post office for you sometime and throw it on the scale for you.
@YuddaLevy It's pretty much made the same way you would make a pillow case. I just inflated the pad, put in on a big section of Tyvek, measured, sewed up the sides on the sewing machine so its like a pillow case, and then I turned it inside out to hide the sewing.

I bet that would work perfectly to inflate the pad with as well. See the video titles "Inflate Neoair in 60 seconds" here on YouTube
