I guarantee evryone here if you teach your child to hunt and be responsible and to have respect for the animal he will be less likely to get in any form of trouble.  The time spent with my children hunting is the most memorable experiences I know. I'm not a journalist but I guarantee you that all dads feel the same. The bonding experience is unmatched.

Actually, its more likely to generate empathy in the kids and help them learn that their actions have real consequences.

There were never school shootings 50 years ago, dispite there being proportionately more guns and more hunting.

Thats because kids were exposed to the real, glamourless side of death and did not want to do it to real people.

movies etc show all this stuff, kill 20 guys, go down in a blaze of glory, etc. hunting is a real eye opener and paves the way to maturity.

good choice of target(flank on)but hide hunting unless its for food is just a waste,get out there and hunt properly(downwind & dirty)still, good shot under nerves & that draw weight.
