Oh, I'm going to mention a couple funny moments in Police Story. While Jackie and Brigitte were getting ready for bed, she fakes a seduction. Later in the courtroom (this is bad for Jackie though), the interrogation tape gets mixed with something that sounded... rather sexual to the audience (I thought it was kind of funny, though I have a feeling it wasn't supposed to be).

Movie wise, pretty daft as the female lead is quite childish and is 20 yrs younger than Jackie. I like that Jackie tries new things but he either acts his age or finds a romance with a woman his age. The fight scenes are to die for...as well as the comedy!

actually Jackie Chan was an international star beforehand as all his hong films were distributed all over the world. America helped him get on the A-list of Hollywood...but then chickened out by putting him in stupid buddy roles (Owen Wilson, Chris Tucker, J Love Hewitt, Lee Evans, Steve Coogan and more). Not one decent american film gave him any control and they advertise him as 'man who does kung fu'. Of course Chan is using them to finance his hk movies but there is a decline in his career..

@kassnorbi Fair enough. But I think it's funny due to the physical elements of the whole scene. It's almost like Looney Tunes in live action. Knocking on the door and the villain gets hit in the head. Using the bike as a weapon. It was very inventive at the time and funny. Funny doesn't need to be just 'oh, he farted, hilarious' - this is the sort of Jackie Chan comedy that made him who he is.
