if you can't find lentil flour at your local asian/international market, then you can just buy some lentils and grind your own. in this video I'm using a wheat grinder with stone grinding wheels. of course there is always the option of just buying some pre-made papadums from any market that carries indian food products.

Interesting! I love lentils, but never knew what the plant looked like. Thanks for the knowledge. Would you have the recipe for the actual papadums?

@ndlz1 Papadums need very finely ground lentil flour so that means you have to sift the flour or even grind it twice... depends on the grinder.
4 cups lentil flour
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup water
oil for frying
Divide the dough into golf-ball sized portions and roll them as flat as possible.
There may be holes in the cakes when they get really flat but they must be thin.
Dry them in the oven(optional, improves quality) & fry for 15 seconds.
