The bad thing about this game is when you get bored of the combat, there is nothing left. The good thing about this game is it has pretty good combat. The same goes for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

The version released in the US was the bland old Vindictus.

The version that TB is playing is Vindictus EX (extreme) -- so on so forth.

Apparently Vindictus isn't popular enough in the states for devcat/nexon to dedicate another fistful of servers to the re-release.

Paritcularly because it would require a wipe of people's current characters.

@thegapaman Yeah, which is generally why I stop playing them when I hit the level cap. Though, I liked War hammer in the beginning because of the world PvP, the problem is that PvP is really hard to get right in games when you also want to have a good dungeon system. I can play the same PvP map over and over again because you're always faced with new people, challenges and combinations. Which is why now I'm playing LoL at the moment. Well, that, and it's free.

I loved this game until it got completely repetitive because you have to play the same levels over and over to level up to get better gear to move on to the next level to grind it and level up... I may try again and see if they add more content to make the game less repetitive.

@thegapaman Sure, but you don't do variations on one dungeon for 15 levels in ANY of those games. Also, dungeoning is the ONLY gameplay in Vindictus.

@NeoGriim Also the gear durability degradation rate is horrific. My staff-wielder had her weapon break mid-dungeon on numerous occasions, even though I had repaired it in town before setting off. :(

But other than the grind and the purchasable lingerie that disappears after a fixed duration, it's actually a pretty sweet game.
