Und das alles bei kaltem Motor! Das arme ding. Öl Temperatur ist immer zwischen 60 und max. 80C°.

@AspiratedEnginecom Auch falsch...Die Temparatur muss bei 90 Grad liegen, und selbst da sollte man noch nicht Gas geben, ich lass den Motor immer 25-30 Min warm laufen, bevor ich los leg.

@folerx tu i jeste problem...ja sam motor vec jednom "radio" , ali su majstori mislili da ima OHC glavu , pa je ravnali...pomesali plocice...ukratko , sada je jos gori!!! ako ga vozim i dalje plasim se za bregaste...valjda cu nesto uraditi!

nice m3. i just bought a 1996 M3 e36 286hp here in mexico... i drive it in mexico city at 2200 meters over the sea level... and the car still pushing me to the seat. Only 70k kilometers on it. Is a Daytona Violet Color. Dyno test at 2200 meters coming soon on video..

i have a 3.0 m3 286hp i will tune it i will not put a turbo on it because i will keep my car for jaers i will tune it with i lighter flywheel end chip the engine motormanegment end a airbox not more not more.i will get maybe 300hp with chip end little bhps with airbox than with a lighter flywheel..is this good you think ?orshut i do do enother things??greetz end my car gows 269km/h now i think with chip end stuff it wil gow 280km/h or i hit the red zone pam pam pam limiter sound

this will be good. or you can swap m5 e39 engine-))) instead lightmass flywheel buy diff with 3.46 ratio and make rev limit 7800rpm. but, don't drive engine for long time over 7000rpm continuous. this engine is produced for 7000rpm all day long.

262 via gps...if you dont have rev limiter you can go to 280kmh.

ja sam svoj zamenio-1400E,pa onda lanac i sve spanere(cak i od pumpe za ulje),-700E,karike 500E,ulje i mnogo toga jos...i,uvek isto...to kuckanje u glavi motora preko 4500 o/min,narocito kada sklonim nogu s^gasa...ubija me...(vidi bmw m3 serbia)...poz!

Recorded engine sound realy depends on position microphone. In this movie mic is positioned close to expansion tank (passenger engine side). If you positioned mic at opposide side (driver side) sound will be like in my movie "Kajza BMW M3 E36 - tire deformation under hard cornering..." - ignore stereo exhaust channel...

Anyway, this engine is true masterpiece enginering!!!

m3 3.0 dont have tc system. when wet or snow you need to have "cold" head...m3 e36 is car under control by driver, no any electronics which can safe you.

Sounds awesome. search BRM supercharged v16. was built in 50's, had only 1.5 or 1.8 litres (am not sure) but had over 400 horse power. and has been voted one of best sounding cars.

Syndrom damned "yellow color"-)))))...With this "dakar yellow 1" color bmw is introduce ///M3 E36 and this color exactly represent nature of this car - wild and brutal. In croatia you can find only several piece of this car in good shape and you can't choose color!!! For me, ideal color for this car is "estoril/blau"...

Very possible. Often I have camera on car but big problem is recording sound. Sound is important just like picture. And for sound you need extra recorder, microphones...This is litle tricky but I have in plan record 3-4 channel video with sound. This will be good.

And yea, I always drive gently. Why to destroy car or kill someone? No thanks.

Sound is recorded over very good and cheap behringer microphone xm8500 positioned at reservoir for glass cleaning. Microphone is simply connected to notebook mic input and software is cooledit 96. Very soon I will record sound with 2/4 mics and 3 cameras. this will be great. thanks for support.

but also, check your oil , because im sure i can hear some ticking from your engine. and also check your vanos filter to make sure your vanos is getting oiled properly. or you will be sorry !

everything is ok with engine and car. oil is change every 3500 miles. only vanos is litle noisy arround 1000/min. I will check vanos filter on next oil change. where you exactly hear ticking (time in movie)?

when you were going up and down the revs, but these engines are like all m engines and do sound a bit rattly but im sure i hear a little ticking , what kind of oil do you use ? try an engine flush and LL oil.

here is winnter and have mobil 1 5w50. in summer i will buy 15w50 mobil 1.
