  • BRAVO!!

  • Horowitz's '66 Columbia live recording blows this performance out of the water.

  • Thank you very much for this video!

  • There is no magical things with pedals...

He hears the "Liquidity" of the harmonies and he makes it to sound.

It is a matter of hearing in the first place.

  • 5:57 "cough!...!"

  • Wow, you actually thought this was better than Horowitz's recording?

  • Actually, if we want to be maniacal, there are other imperfections in the first part too, but what does it mean? He's a really great player.. Thanks for your uploading!

  • @Sagitta1986 : exactly: it does not matter. This is a great live recording, with a good interpretation of an absolutly superb peace of music!

  • does he make a mistake on 2.29 or is it just an other version?

  • Thanks for mentioning this point, I certainly didn't notice it before:-) Well, it's not the same thing written on my score neither, but harmonicall what he played had no problem at all.

  • I'm sorry to countersay your response, but 2.29 is a slip indeed (he played G instead of G sharp). Also, there are plenty of them in this recording, which don't matter that much, of course.

  • he clearly just stumbled.

  • @madeliefffje even the greater minds make mistakes... :) they're human after all.

  • @madeliefffje Funny I wasn't reading the comments, but I just noticed it and was about to type the same question. I also have an older manuscript of the piece but it doesn't mention it either. I think it was a small mistake in the performance.

  • great pictures

  • Thank you! Wonderfull recording. 5

  • rightous

but i love richters things too.

he is doing amazing things with pedalls:)
