Actually, the emails don't agree with your dogma. There are several thousand of them and the wing nuts have to resort to showing extracts of two or three of them out of context. There is scientific consensus over whether carbon contributes to global warming, it has been empirically demonstrated.
The only bone of contention within the scientific community is whether this has been caused by human actions. For me, this is irrelevant - if we can slow it down we should, regardless of what caused it.

Actually, the emails don't agree with your dogma. There are several thousand of them and the wing nuts have to resort to showing extracts of two or three of them out of context. There is scientific consensus over whether carbon contributes to global warming, it has been empirically demonstrated.
The only bone of contention within the scientific community is whether this has been caused by human actions. For me, this is irrelevant - if we can slow it down we should, regardless of what caused it.

Also, even if there really is a manmade global warming crisis, it's more efficiently and more justly dealt with through the voluntary free market means than through coercive central planning, which is what these individuals surely advocate.
