Slovo chlapa! Znám westlife od 29. ledna 2011 asi mezi 15:00 až 22:00 sem je našla :D To s Brianem sem zjistila po asi měsíci nesnášela sem ho. Po tom co sem zjistila asi tři týdny zpátky že se westlife rozpadá tak sem ho začala poslouchat ale pořád sem na něj naštvaná. Kluci rozhodli dobře i kdyby přišel Brian westlife by se za chvíli rozpadla možná i dřív.

As much as I think it should be up to the remaining 4 guys in Westlife to decide wether or not they should have Brian back, I think to publicly dismiss him like this is in poor taste. Sorry, Shane, you got a great voice - but you don`t appear to be much of a diplomat. Even for publicity reasons this question should have been unanswered - opening up for speculations of him returning for the goodbye tour. He was there in the start - so wouldn`t it be appropriate he was there when it finished?

I love Westlife from the very beginning & I was very sad when Brian left. And it was HIS decision to leave. But the band went on just fine as a 4 piece for a long time. And now Brian wanted to come back? I don't think that'd be plausible. Sorry Bri, I like you but you ain't no Ginger Spice.

Brian was not my favorite but when ever I see Westlife as a four it just doesn't look right. Yer Brian has not had a successful career like Robbie so you can't compare it in that sense. But Westlife were at their biggest when they were a five, and a five they should be.

Shane is right, having Brian back would be strange. I loved westlife when there were 5 members and I still love them now. With or without Brian they sound amazing. In fact, i like them even more now. As for Brian, not so much.

Shane was simply stating a fact here, that it would be very weird for him, Mark, Kian and Nicky (as well as their manager Louis Wlash) to bring back Brian, esp since it was Brian's decision to leave the band. Shane isnt being an arrogant prick at all! Westlife is much better as a four-piece band, FULL STOP. But they pointed out that Brian also played an important part in their early success.

@kyranicole1 They have said it many times, that they don't want him back. It is because the way he left its like he made the decision without consulting them or making them prepare for it. He left in the middle of a tour, they were like will you at least finish the tour, and he said no.They felt like they weren't important.

@dencod18 I agree wif ya on the first half of your statement, however Brian didnt really feel like they were important. If u read the Westlife autobiography, the other guys felt that Brian was growing up too fast, being married and having kids in less than 5 yrs, and those were mistakes that he will regret for eternity. His marriage was in jeopardy by late 2003, and knowing that Brian would haf been even more unhappy if he were still part of Westlife, the other 4 decided to let him go

I prefer Westlife as a 4-piece band as well because their harmonies are smoother than before, having more elegance in it. And it's already 7 years since Bryan leaving, I don't think it'll be fair for them to re-adapt to 'a new form' again. It's just enough and they are going well now.

i can see where shane is coming from, brian rejoining would be like westlife going into hevy metal instead of pop, but on the other hand, they have been exploring different types of pop, so letting him rejoin would be a new challenge.

@LiorLilov They still are friends. But Brian left because he didn't like what WL do and thought he could be a Robbie but he failed. Westlife are a four piece now, they've been longer without him. And tbh Brian gave the band bad publicity that the lads did not want, besides laughing at Kian during his speech (water under the bridge now). Though as a true WL fan, I thank him for what he did for the band. It's easier for me to say this as he was my least fave.

Brian McFadden was a member of Westlife, he and Nicky were picked from an audition to join Shane, Mark and Kian (yes, Westlife WAS a 5-member band FYI). Brian shared abt equal solo singing time as Shane and Mark for some songs between 1999 to 2003, even co-wrote some of them with Shane. Then he announced his decision to leave the band in March 2004.

Less than a yr after he left Westlife, he separated from Kerry Katona (who later became bankrupt), and then he started a relationship with Delta Goodrem. Should haf been good news when they got engaged, but Brian and Delta called off their engagement late last yr. More than half of Westlife's fans (myself included) would rather not haf Brian back, so lets just move on

@MayeDMiller exactamente... es una gran banda por que siguieron con su mismo exito sin él, mas bien creo que brian se sintio mejor que ellos al querer probar su carrera en solitario.. no tengo nada en contra de brian, pero creo que ellos demostraron ser buenos en lo que hacen, son la unica boyband que ha hecho discos doce ños consecutivos, ninguno de ellos ha hecho escandalo y tras la salida de brian, no se dejaron caer, siguieron como siempre...
