it must've been planned. why else wouldn't they show us his dad going into the car? But i agree it's sick, he's offiucally(to the viewers) when there're still 7 seasons left & there're isn't even 1 season left when he turned out to've survived.

I must say, Luke Perry is a great actor. He really puts himself into the scene. I think that's called method acting. Anyways, I am suprised he hasn't found anything else acting wise. I kind of remember him in a tv show in the past where he was apart of a group that won the lottery. I think only a few episodes aired. I would love to see him in something else hopefully soon. He is too good of an actor to not be in some tv show or movie.
I love this show.... Dylan always struggled with his dad diein, but cold part about it it was all a set up he never his dad never died.... I believe if memory serves me right seasons later Dylan saw him on the news or somethin in a airport

Dylans father never actually died it took 7 more years for Dylan to find his father...Dylans father was in trouble with the feds...Dylans father basically lived a new life and came back...but Dylan had a tough time accepting it cause if you watch 90210 you know that after his father and wife died his life crashed from there he did drugs and alcohol to the fullest
