    PLEASE HELP write back

  • this one or the Reloop RMP-3 ??????

  • looks just like the 400!

  • Do u know what i can do if the cdj reads all disc as DISC ERROR

  • Hey Jonathan I'm still waiting for comparison with other cdj's out there in the market. at least the top of the line like pioneer cdj 400. Pls make a good comparison together with stress test its almost 2 years and no one make a comparison. At least try it with radius 3000 to be fair. tanx a lot kip up d gud work.

  • hey can any 1 please help me out!!or info, ive bought a set of these along with a citronicsfmx 200 mixer, when i did, they didnt come with how to set up manual,i wont be using an amp,but playing them via a good mini hi-fi system with great speakers..im lost as to how to set them up,would be appreciated for the assitance, thank u!

  • people who keep winging bout the radius series there completely solid and GOOD build quality and for people who say there just cdj 400's well yeh they are. they have all the features AND MORE for half the price. call me stupid but how is that a bad thing lol?? and btw look at american audio's business stratergy ;) every but off equipment they make they sell at dirt cheap prices so they can plough the market and be bought out... end off (also own cdj 400 come nowhere near to these)

  • @djsorbie lies

  • this video seems like dija voo maybe ill take a look at the pioneer cdj 400 and look at this one again...

  • i have got the radius 3000 they are realy good but i have had a problem with the cue button is this common with american audio

  • @LuKeBrAiThWaiTE123 Had exact same problem, Then it stopped reading cds had to send it back, Took over a month to get it replaced

  • Yo im going to buy some table top my buget $1100 do you think the staton c.324or radius 1000 please let me know what

should i buy in that buget or there something out there better.?

  • @manuelechevarria23 I'm thinking the same thing you are both are. There about the same price but the Radius 1000 is also a MIDI controller which is a plus (well for me it is) and I've heard a lot of bad things about the c.324(load time, and ejecting problems)

  • @Chrisdgaf13 2nd played i had stole a cd wouldnt eject it, Got the unit replaced never seen the cd again lucky it wasnt a rare one

  • I recently bought a pair of Radius 2000s ( i went for the non-CD version as i don't use CDs, all my choons are midi mapped. When i play out i just CD burn my sets) and i gotta say they're awesome. The build qual isn't quite up to that of the Pioneers but the jog wheel is every bit as good. Cos Pioneer know that clubs globally want the standard set and they can afford them they keep jackig the price up. For home use a pair of these is simply excellent.

  • i want to buy it and t's my first cd player do you advise me?

  • @sorax113 DONT BUY THESE THERE SHIT! HAD 3 AND THEY ALL BROKEN WITH VERY LITTLE USE.

  • thinking of buying either citronic mpcd s6,or these any1 giv me any help? cheers

  • are these better than the stanton c324

  • i like it because i buy american audio kit all the time

  • its ok if you have the money

  • pioneer stuff is solid and proven but unjustifiably expensive. CDJ 2000s are nearly two grand EACH!!!! Fuck the hell off.

  • yes yes thats sirk getting min in 2 days

  • o com trepes ty kokot?

  • Radius is SHIT!

  • Why?

  • Get the Pioneer CDJ-400

  • It's very expensive

  • correction, it''s TOO expensive.

  • reloop rmp 2 or this? :(

  • CDJ 400

  • too expensive...

  • This or Denon DN-S 1200?

  • Denon DN-S 1200....but the cons of the DN-S 1200 is the platter is different

  • can you scratch on it?

  • yes you can :D

  • thx man :D just anotha question: which r the best: vestax cdj05, radius 1000, denon dns1200

  • thax man. so which r the best?: Denon DNS1200, vestax cdx05 or american audio radius 1000?

  • i think that you should go for the denon dns 1200 or the radius 1000 cause both of them got midi controll. but the 1200 doesnt play mp3 cds. but the radius 1000 does :D

  • lol thx a lot man, but i actually meant the denon dns1000.. does that one play cds??

  • yes the denon 1000 plays cds and mp3 cds . the dns 1200 doesnt play mp3 cds but it got a usb slot ;)

  • thx man ; ))

  • the new firmware of dns 1200 can play mp3 CD,you can download from their website =)

  • I use the denon dns 1200 and think it's great!!!!!!!!!

  • does anyone know the difference between the radius 1000 and 2000? does the 2000 play cd's?

  • The Radius 1000 only plays cd's and the 2000 only has a usb input (no cd)..

  • radius has midi

  • Can you adjust the LOOP OUT on the American Audio Radius 1000 deck?

Either with the jog wheel or knobs for fine tuning purposes and for making extremely small loops for effect purposes.

    Thanks.

  • sorry! Im asking you about the title of the first song¿? thanks

  • what is the first song?? it sounds good^^

I have a behringer bcd3000 but I cant make it work:(

  • why?

  • haj!

    i don't know what i wil buy?

this, radius 1000, of the pioneer cdj400?

can somebody give me a hint?

  • if money is not a problems....cdj400 is more good...or try denon

  • more good would be 'better'

Still the pioneers are nice, however I prefer this one, pioneers seems too expencive around here :S

  • cdj 400 is really much better as this!!!

    i know i have both!!!!!!!!

  • good for you dude. can i get a fanboy shirt too?

  • Hey guys, I want to know if anyone owns a pair of these and want to know what they think about them? How responsive is the pitch control etc... How good is the anti-shock? I am looking to use these mainly in the bedroom and small private party's for 'proper dance mixing' so I can get some proper practice using CDJs more regularly...are these worth it?

  • Denon HD2500 can do the same thing... and Denon is better

  • most denon's have next track cue and play facilities and it gradually blends from one to another and not drop it like this one does, pioneer are king but denon are catching up on em

  • GET THE CDJ400 you can get them for only $100.00 more & worth the money I have a pair of AA CDI-500 spent almost $1,000.00 on the 2 CD players A case and mixer. and one of the cd plyers went on me and the other one is on the way.look good but dont last had mine for less then a year...

  • what about the durability and quality?

  • Is there a case for the Radius 1000?

  • Remember, not everybody has the money to buy a pioneer, so go for these guys and be sure of a good player! My experience...

  • These players are already out in the market since November. To reply to some comments of the people here who claim that these seems to be rip-offs of pioneer, guys a CD players is a Cd player and it has got features, some have more then others just like a car is a car with 4 wheels and an engine. The Radius 1000 have for sure all options needed on a modern player + a MIDI feature that works with all software's for a very inexpensive price (ca.€ 500,- / L 250,- (pound).

  • American audio equiment got good features, but it's not durable. Dont buy it

  • Old and seen denon has that feature year ago

  • ive got the AA cdi-500's basically these are a small upgrade to them, one thing i will say, AA products dont seem to have lasting power, they tend to break because there made of flimsy inferior products...imo stick to the high end brands and you wont have a problem.

had nothing but issues with my AA kit.

  • i think sticking with known brands is a good thing

  • ya these american audios are a total ripoff of the CDJ400's :P

  • as good as (or reputable alternative ) for a cdj?

  • i am also i think the target audience for this piece of kit (all the features of a pioneer but without the price tag!)

i cant wait to see more vids on these.

(surely a release date in december would be better? the missus could have got me one as a christmas prezzie and i could have bought another!)

    thanks j! again!

  • wow, so similar to Pioneer CDJ400 - again - AA has stolen features from another piece of kit, add few changes and produce it as its brand new stuff ... yek :-(

  • I like the Next track reserve feature in Denon CD players more than this one, and Denon has the DN-S1000 that is not that expensive, so we have to see what more this unit has to offer and at what price tag, I love having lots of brands in the DJ market, but I want to see something different or an advantage in the players or in the price, I own two pioneer cdj-100s, two Denon dn-s3500, and two Numark ICDX, and I love them all because each one has its own character and philosophy behind them

  • now-a-days is no reason to buy old DN-S1000 but only DN-S1200 - many and many new features ...

CDJ100 is tradicional, but old, some usefull features free player

DN-S3500 - is very impressive player nearly like his bigger brother - DN-S5500 ...

Numark ICDX was really revolutionary, but now bysides playing MP3s from DVD mediu it has no special features againts DN-S1200 for example ...

    ... my little opinion :-)

  • i would love to get some cdj's but i have next to no money, so this looks like it could be the next move for me, depending on the price. J, how much are these going to cost??

  • Lets make a Compare £££.

American Audio Radius 1000 or Pioneer 1000.

Beringer DDM4000 or Pioneer Djm 800.

Courses for horses comes to mind !!, Its what you can afford at the end of the day.

    X2 pio 1000mk3 + DJM 800= Approx £2500.

    X2 Radius 1000 + Ber DDM4000= Approx £900.

Some Djs Starting off can not afford £2500 for there entire setup let aloan just buying 2 decks & a mixer

    Eh, Get real

  • On my last comment:

    I own a pair Pio1000mk3s+Djm400

Concidering my first introduction to Dj`ing was a make called FAL along with citronic etc etc... just a few number of years ago.

Back then technics 1210s were the daddy, But back then not everyone could afford em starting off.

Ellaskins Perfectly explains budget to high end Dj Gear & Lighting.

    Enuff Said !

  • lol @ the CDJ wannabe. Seriously guys, with decks, it pays dividends to save a little longer at get Pioneer/Technics decks. They are the workhorse. You canmake do with a not so good mixer for the time being. Save you money and go Pioneer/Technics. I've gone Pioneer CDJ 800 and i wouldnt recommend anything else.

  • looooooool All denon cd player hahe this future since the begining.BTW: once again Looooooool

  • the American Audio Radius 1000 will be out in jan 2009

  • That looks exactly like the CDJ 400, which also does the 'jump to track' feature on that top left knob Johnathan. =)

  • Denon 1200 and 3500 have the same feature with better transforms. Nothing new from American Audio...

  • The Denon DNS3500 does that much better IMO and you can fade it in at a preset time

    cheers

    Lee

  • Looks like a Denon and Pioneer SMASHED together, however, with AA's earlier trackrecord, it's not gonna last very long.

Sure they're cheap, but the quality, oh my god, it's awful, a lot better then say 5 years ago, but still not even close to Denon or Pioneer or even Numark.

it's CDJ 400 Ripp oFF but with worse quality and components.

Surprising that not Pioneer arguing about license or Copyright.

    /S

  • Actually, the track record on the American Audio decks is pretty decent for the price, and the warranty service is good if you get a lemon. That is the track record, if you bother to look it up, rather than just make an assumption based on the price of the unit. Yes, Denon and Pioneer are better, and I recommend them over the American Audio decks, but for the price, American Audio decks are pretty good, for those on a budget.... every bit as good as Numark, or better.

  • to sleeperawaken36 WELL SAID!! Agree, they may not be the best, but for the price you get some good kit!

    J

  • I am, very much the target audience for the Radius, as I live in an area that just doesn't pay all that well for mobiles. I'd move, but there are other reasons I like living here, trade offs for everything, you know? Anyway, for me, the Radius looks really good, and my experience thus far with American DJ/Audio customer service, has been really, really good, so that gives me that much more confidence.

  • this looks like a good peice of kit j it would be a perfect backup for a mobile dj

  • omg the best copied cd player ever

  • the denon dn s3500 have the same feature but the tracks actually blend in together when use the feature. and if ur clever enough u can sample a loop and than remove the cd and put in a different one to the same player

  • thats cool....

  • It's a little bit like my life... That didn't come with a manual!

Anyway, that is a really great feature for a CD deck.

  • you got some hot classics playin on here. I miss those joints fo sho! Keep the videos comin!

  • what a copy of Pioneer (cdj 400 and 1000)....reeeeal original there Amerikan audio

  • when you concider that a basic table top cd plare will have jog wheel, pitch, cue, stop, and some fx, chances are they will all look similar to a certain degree. I will do a comparison soon. j

  • ok great, thanks

  • lol they made it too alike to the cdj 400 in design

  • Nice

  • Yeap, also Jonathan have a tutorial with the Denon 5500 doing the same.

  • Actually, the Denon 5500's do something quite a bit better. They have two sets of outputs, and can actually function as two separate decks in one, and even play two tracks at the same time. There is simply a layer button to switch control from one track to another, and you can plug it into two separate channels on you mixer.

  • crap. I would love to replace my Stanton C.314's with these.

  • whas wrong with c314s?

  • Where do I start? They have a very high failure rate, and stanton's warranty repair service is worthless. I've seen their repair work, and from the standpoint of a repair tech (I am one) I was surprised it even survived shipping. My decks work because I repaired them myself. If you want to know more, you are welcome to check out the videos I did on mine, and be sure to check the video information for each vid. They have a very nice feature set, and play great when they work...

  • I really wish Stanton would reorganize their warranty/repair service. I like a lot of things about stanton, but the reliability just isn't there, and when you get a lemon, you can't get it fixed.

  • scarry

  • ...and unfortunate. The stanton decks would be nice, if they were reliable, and if their warranty service was good.

  • which brand would be your next buy?

  • Well if money was not an issue, I would definitely go with Pioneer, but living where I do, where they pay us in peanuts, I'm really looking at American Audio. Was looking at the CDI500's for my next, but if there Radius decks are not too much, I'd be tempted to do these instead. These decks have nearly identical features, but American Audio has decent repair/warranty service, and the CDI500's have a good reliability track record :)

  • Yea man my reverse button is screwed on one i think, cause it just reverses on its own sometimes....and the other cdj the Cue button is starting to fail, like i have to press hard to get it to work....and the tracking of the jogwheel is just shit.....but i wish theyd work cause the effects are great on it, which also have the X and Y graph which is EXCELLENT, so you can controll depth and width, and the whole thing looks nice, especially the jogwheel...pretty sad.

  • What I find, is that the jog wheel will track pretty decent for regular audio CD's/CDRs. 50% of the issues are eliminated by not using MP3 disks. I wish the MP3 compatibility was reliable, but it's not. Use Audio CD's only, and it works a lot better. Your reverse turning on spontaneously might go away too. Cue button will still be bad though :( If you know someone who can replace surface mount tact switches though, I can recommend a good replacement :)

  • yea ok thanks

  • great piece of kit! have to agree with the others though, it looks VERY much like the CDJ-400. what do you think, j?

  • In my next vid i will give a comparison in size to another cd player, to be honest it's not the same as a cdj-400.

  • sweet piece of equipment!!

  • lol @ the cdj-400 wonna-be

  • = CDJ 400? LOL same jog display

  • I own the american audio cdi 500 and this is a huge improvement! I'm impressed. I mostly do mobile work and if i had a dollar for every time i wanted to play a track from the same cd i'd be rich. This is a great feature. When will it be released?

  • Only on Wednesday evenings after 5.45pm if we have a full moon! j : )

  • had some friends round,a bit of a do you know,no ones owned up to sending you that comment im totally peeved about it,please accept my apology ,though a comment like that i wouldnt blame you if you didnt,i enjoy your vids and all the work you do,and your humour on those weather reports, have a good weekend ,love Teresa xx.

  • no worries!! j

  • wow if that isnt a copy of the cdj 400

  • WOW! USEFUL!

  • yes my denon dns 1000`s have that feature and there £400 a pair ; ) off ebay

  • yep! denon came out with this first if I'm not mistaken

  • same structure from 400 pioneer

  • this is like search or what>>???

  • denons have this feature also

  • a lot of knobbily bits on it - perhaps it features some innovative effects and tricks.

    illumination looks familiar though... ;-)

  • looks like a cdj400 and 1000 hybrid

  • denon players have that feature too for a long time, they also do fade out of the first track:)

  • Thanks for the review....

When is this out to buy??

ps Really njoy'd my first BPM show good to see you there!!
